METHODIST MINISTER SUDDENLY DERANGED
Huron, S.D. - May 5 - Word comes from Broadland, in the northern part of this county, to the effect that Rev. R.N. Cratz, in charge of the Methodist church in that place for several months past, has become mentally deranged.  Mr. Cratz is about 70 years of age, and prior to coming to Dakota territory studied for the ministry and supplied several pulpits.  After serving as register of the government land office at Mitchell some years, he was induced to again enter the ministry, and supplied churches in various towns in this part of the state.  His condition is such that his removal to a sanatorium will be necessary.
