Hanlon Tithe Applotment Records

Hanlons in Tithe Applotment Books

Ireland 1820's/1830's

The Tithe Applotment Books were compiled in the 1820's/30's to record householders. For an explanation of why these lists were drawn up, including several transcriptions for County Donegal see Lindel Buckley's Tithes transcriptions. Lindel has an excellent collection of transcripts online including the Tithe Applotment books, Griffith's Valuation, Hearth Money Rolls etc.

Townland spellings are shown as they were found in the records.
