Eastman, Douglas C. Eastman

        Douglas C. "Doug" Eastman, of Midland, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at the age of 87 years.

        Doug was born March 16, 1924, in Lansing, to the late Claude and Loma (Kinkade) Eastman. Doug lived his life with exuberance, bravery, and a never ending sense of humor. He was miserly with his own needs but generous to a fault with others, especially those in need. His magnetic personality touched everyone around him, friends and family alike. He truly never met a stranger. He loved playing pool, poker, and sports. He earned MVP for the 1941 Breckenridge District Champion football season, where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball. He was an avid golfer in his retirement, highlighted by golfing at St. Andrews in Scotland with his wife, Betty.

        Doug fought in the U.S. Army during World War II and earned a bronze star. After the war ended he played baseball with the U.S. Army before returning home. He retired from General Motors, where he worked as a millwright. Doug and Betty traveled throughout Europe and extensively throughout the U.S.A. and Canada.

        Doug is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty (Loomis) Eastman; children, Suzanne (Ken Winter) Eastman, Douglas Jon Eastman, Jane (John) Doan, and Cindy (Tim) Ward; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his brother, John (Phyllis) Eastman.

        Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, from 5-8 p.m., at W.L. Case & Company in Merrill. In lieu of flowers the family suggests you take a loved one out to lunch.

Eddy, Stanley Rexel  Eddy  “Rex”

Stanley Rexel “Rex” Eddy, 89, of Reno, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Heartland of Marietta.  He was born on April 2, 1923, at Eddy’s Ridge a son of Milton G. and Katie Knutty Eddy.  Rex graduated from Lawrence High School, served as Staff Sergeant in the US Army Air Force during World War II having served in the South Pacific Theatre, was a member of VFW of Marietta and American Legion Post 64.  He retired from Kardex in 1988 after 43 years of service and loved gardening and woodworking.
            On July 8, 1948, he married Ruth E. Long, his wife of 64 years, who survives along with his son Jeffrey L. (Bonnie Dailey) Eddy and daughter Judy L. (Don) Atkins, grandchildren, Justin L. Eddy of Chicago and Jennifer D. Atkins of Marietta, sister Goldie Long of Woodsfield, 2 sisters-in-law, Wilda Eddy of Marietta and Janie Eddy of Dart and brother-in-law, Alfred Westbrook of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.
            He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers:  Harold, Marvel, Virgil, Karl, Dean, Russell and Oran and one sister, Glenda Westbrook.
            Funeral services will be held on Saturday (September 15) at 10:30 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park with full military rites.  Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday after 3:00pm.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.

Eickleberry, Thelma G. Eickleberry nee Mick

      Eickleberry, Thelma G., age 76, of Woodsfield, OH, formerly of Clarington and Rayland, OH, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV. She was born April 21, 1936 in Orlando, Braxton County, WV, the daughter of the late Lester C. and Olive L. VanKirk Mick.

     Thelma was a member of the Plum Run Church of Christ in Rayland; and a former member of the Clarington E-Squad, Smithfield E-Squad, and New Alexandria Fire Dept.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford "David" Eickleberry; and two brothers, Charles Richard and Harry Robert Mick.

     Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth (Christopher) Meyer of Aurora, OH and Dorothy (Bruce) Babcock of Woodsfield; six grandchildren, David Huff, Timothy and Stacey Roset, Melissa, Jacob and Justin Meyer; and two sisters, Alice Madge (Russell) Yost and Patricia Ann McMasters, both of Iron Station, NC.

     Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Roger Wayne officiating.

Interment in Clarington Cemetery, Clarington, OH.

English, Clara B. English nee Griffen

Clara B. English, age 96, of Woodsfield, formerly of Graysville, Ohio died Monday August 20, 2012 at the Monroe County Care Center.  She was born at Rinard Mills, Ohio May 6, 1916 a daughter of the late Marion & Lydia Drumm Griffin. 

She was a homemaker and a Methodist by Faith. 

In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth English – June 26, 1995, a son-in-law; Walter Piatt, two grandsons; Bradley Piatt and John Christopher English, three sisters and six brothers. 

She is survived by six children; Doris Piatt of Doylestown, Ohio, Dale (Susan) English of Woodsfield, Paul Dean English of Woodsfield, Roger (Sue) English of Graysville, Ohio, Ronald (Vicki) English of Lewisville, Ohio and Sharon (Ron) Yarnell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. 

Friends received from 2 – 4 & 6 - 9 p.m. Thursday August 23, at the Bauer -Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday August 24, 2012 with Rev. David Hull-Frye and Rusty Atkinson officiating.  

Interment will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio. 

 

English, Helen L. English nee Drum

Helen L. English, 98, of 404 High Street, Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday November 6, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Westerville, Ohio.

She was born at Graysville, Ohio on August 26, 1914 a daughter of the late William Carl Drum and Sarah Myers Drum.

She was a retired clerk for the Monroe County Probate Court in Monroe County, Ohio; a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of the Business and Professional Womens Organization; Monroe County Genealogical Society where she served as the treasurer; and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Woodsfield, Ohio.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, and cross-stitch work in her spare time.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph L. Drum and Paul J. Drum, and one sister, L. Maxine Buttery.

Surviving are one daughter, Barbara E. Allen of Westerville, Ohio; one sister, Jeanne (Dale) Schwall of Woodsfield, Ohio; one grandson, Joshua E. Allen of Westerville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio with Sam Bartrug officiating.

Ensley, Goldie Ruth Ensley

      Goldie Ruth Ensley, 76, of the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of Beallsville, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Center.  She was born August 13, 1936 near Beallsville, a daughter of the late Roy and Opal Farrabee Ensley.  

      She was a member of the Church of Christ.  

      In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by an infant sister, Anna Mae.  

      Surviving are three siblings, Florence McVey of Barnesville, John Ensley of Beallsville, and Doris (Jim) Jones of Jerusalem; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; also many, many friends.

      Visitation will be Saturday, September 29 from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM at the Harper Funeral Home with Jeff Rich officiating.

       Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

 

Erchak, Mark A. Erchak

        Mark A.  Erchak, 55, of Jerusalem died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at his home.  He was born September 02, 1956 in Barnesville a son of John Erchak and the late Marlene Cey Erchak Yeager. 

He was an employee of Ohio Valley Coal Corporation near Beallsville and a member of UMW Local #1810. 

Surviving in addition to his father, John, of Beallsville, are his wife, Annette Perkins Erchak; four sons, Nick (Teri) Erchak of Lebanon, KY; Antony, Alex, and Darien Erchak, all of the home; two brothers, John F. Erchak of Stoutsville and Joe Erchak of Beallsville; two sisters, Bridget (Ray) Swallie of Beallsville and Babbette (Steve) McDougal of  McArthur. 

According to Mark’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services, however a gathering of friends will be planned by his family at a later date.

        Mary Jane Evans (Brown), age 76, of Orient, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 26, 2012.

        Preceded in death by husband Ralph Evans, father Glen Brown, mother Catherine Ricer, and brothers Glen Jr. and Jackie Brown. Survived by step-son, Marvin Evans; daughters, Kathy Christman and Cheryl (Jan) Taylor; son, Greg (Lisa) Evans; grandchildren, Jody Evans, Jan Michael Taylor, Joseph (Aarika) Taylor, Janelle (Jeff) Gillispie, Jeffrey Christman, Gregory and Lacey Evans; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Toledo, Jadelynn and Jenaveive Gillispie, Zachary Taylor and Jacob Hatfield; niece, Glenda (Jamie) Durshum; along with loving relatives and friends.

Fagert, Paul Willis Fagert Sr.

       Paul Willis Fagert Sr., age 78, of Shadyside, Ohio formerly of Woodsfield, died Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Belmont Community Hospital Bellaire, Ohio.  He was born in Hannibal, Ohio January 31, 1934 a son of the late George Clark and Anna Lawrence Fagert. 

       Paul was a retired employee of Ormet corp. Hannibal, an Army Veteran, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodsfield.  He was also an avid Bowler. 
       Preceded in death by one brother; Ralph Fagert, and a sister-in-law; Jean Fagert. 
       He is survived by his wife Johanna Daus Fagert of Shadyside, one son Paul Willis Fagert Jr. of Shadyside, daughter; Christine (Kennith) Vaughn of Shadyside and Danielle Gordon Scatterday of Powhatan Point, Ohio, whom he thought of as a daughter, one brother; G.C. Fagert of Canal Fulton, Ohio, one sister; Lois (Lemoyne) Krone of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one sister-in-law; Mary Fagert of Youngstown, Ohio, eight grandchildren; Rick & James Biggs, Kenny, David, Zachary, Jason Vaughn, Charlie and Ava Scatterday, three great grandchildren; Travis, Alahna, and Sophia, and several nieces and nephews. 
       Friends received from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Monday December 3, 2012 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Pastor Adam Townsend officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.

 

Fawcett, Harold C. Fawcett

        Harold C. Pudge Fawcett, age 83, of Mount Vernon passed away on Saturday morning, September 1, 2012 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon. He was born on December 4, 1928 in Gambier, son of the late Lundy and Grace (Davis) Fawcett. Pudge retired from Chattanooga Glass with many years of faithful service. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Pudge enjoyed playing golf and was a frequent patron at the Southside Diner in Mount Vernon. He will be remembered as a devoted caregiver to his wife and a loving father.

        Pudge is survived by his wife, Norma (Payne) Fawcett; step daughter, Donna (Ben) Page of Massillon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Anne Wolfe of Gambier and Rosalie Vance of Mount Vernon; brothers, Gordon and Ralph Fawcett of Utica; several nieces and nephews.

        In addition to his parents, Pudge was preceded in death by a son, Mark Fawcett; sister, Betty Ramsey; and brother, Gene Fawcett.

        The family will have a graveside service on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens with Pudges son-in-law, Ben Page officiating. Feisley, Glenn Eugene Feisley

Feisley, Glenn Eugene, 89, of Sykes Ridge Road, Clarington, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Liza's Place, Wheeling, WV. He was born August 10, 1923 in Clarington, the son of the late John Albert and Elizabeth Kernen Feisley.

Glenn was a self-employed dairy farmer and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Clarington.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fredrick Feisley; and a sister, Virginia Feisley Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Thelma Huntsberry Feisley; a son, Randy (Rhonda) Feisley of Marietta, OH; two daughters, Susan Feisley Rowland of Powell, OH and Glenna Feisley Kincaid (Doug) of Blacklick, OH; a brother, John Pershing (Marian) Feisley of St. Clairsville, OH; nine grandchildren and five great granddaughters.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00pm at Immanuel U.C.C., 106 Shepherd Place, Clarington, with Pastor Steve Hale officiating.

Findley, Rosemary Findley, nee Hewitt

FINDLEY

        Rosemary Hewitt Findley, of Fort Myers, FL, 86, passed away, at her home on November 1, 2012. On October 2, 1926 Rosemary was born to John and Florence Hewitt, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from East High School, and The Ohio State University. She married William "Bill" R Findley in 1947. During her years in Columbus she was a property manager for Century City and Stewart Apartments. She was very active in the United States Power Squadron and its auxiliary the Sea Gals. She and her husband boated for many years on Buckeye Lake and Lake Erie. Homes were maintained at Columbus, OH, Buckeye Lake, OH and in Cape Coral, FL. She moved permanently to Ft. Myers, FL in 2001.

        She was preceded in death by Bill in 2008. She is survived by daughters, Deb Bittrolff (Steve) of Colorado Springs, CO and Cindy Land (Ron) of Indianapolis, IN; and sons, Doug of Columbus, OH and John (Jeanne) of Ft. Myers, FL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and by beloved companion, Claude Smith.

Fisher, Ethel M. Fisher, nee Richey

        Ethel M. Fisher, 84, of Connersville, passed away Friday morning, March 16, 2012, at her residence.

        She was born June 29, 1927, in Rush County, the daughter of Edward A. and Stella L. Fishback Richey. On Jan. 16, 1954, she was married in Brookville to Ralph E. Fisher, a native of Connersville. A devoted and loving homemaker, she enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Gabriel Church and a past member of the Daughters of Isabella.

        Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ralph Fisher; three daughters, Katherine Jones and her husband Abie, Sandra Lakes and Danny Lakes, all of Connersville, and Gloria Jean Harrison and her husband William of Richmond; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Ellen Norwald* of Greensburg, Virginia Houston and Gladys Fussner, both of Milroy; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

        She was preceded in death by a son, Chester Leroy Brown; four brothers, Oliver** Richey, William Richey, Robert Richey and Edwin Richey; three sisters, Naomi Martin, Norma Clark and Helen Myers; and her parents.

        Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley J. Herber officiating. Burial will be Lick Creek Cemetery. Fletcher, Joan, age 60, of Sardis, Ohio died Saturday, December 8, 2012, at her home. She was born July 21, 1952 in New Martinsville, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Wilma Tuttle Riggenbach.

She was a LPN for 18 years and worked at Marietta Memorial Hospital and member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a granddaughter, Emma Fletcher.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Robert Fletcher; two sons, Robert Fletcher Jr. and Michael (Elizabeth) Fletcher, both of Sardis, OH; one daughter, Kari Fletcher of Sardis, OH; one brother, Tom (Terri) Riggenbach of Sardis, OH; three sisters, Cindy (Dennis) Cain and Karen Riggenbach, both of Sardis, OH, Judy Riggenbach of Columbus, OH; two grandchildren, Jazmine Fletcher and Nathaniel Fletcher.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Grisell Funeral Home 37234 Mound St. Sardis, Ohio, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Fr. David Gaydosik officiating.

Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.

Floradis, Carolyn M. "Mazie" Floradis, nee Cox

        Carolyn M. 'Mazie' (Cox) Floradis, 58, of Linton, IN, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN surrounded by her loving family.

        Carolyn was born October 19, 1953, and is the daughter of Curtis and Irma J. (Cunningham) Cox. She had been employed at Keller Aluminum and Boston Scientific before her retirement and was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. Her hobbies included sewing, taking care of animals and spending time with her family. Carolyn attended Olive Branch Baptist Church and is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #22.

        Carolyn is survived by her mother, Irma (Cunningham) Cox of Linton, IN; daughter: Amanda (Chuck) Misner; brother: Danny 'Buster' Cox; grandchildren: Taylor Floradis, Kevin and Zach Misner, all of Linton; nieces and nephews: Amanda Shidler, Kayla, Kurtis, Karter and Konner Cox; uncles: Mike Cunningham of Linton, Scott (Janet) Cunningham of Danville; aunts: Pat Teed of 3 Rivers, MI, Sara Davenport (John) of Bloomington, Sharon Longhorn (Daniel) of Santa Rosa, CA, and Helen Goodman of Linton; many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins; also two step-sisters: Terri and Vicki Robinson.

        Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Cox; step-father, John Cox; brother, Floyd (Archie) Cox; paternal grandparents: Floyd and Myrtle Cox; maternal grandparents: Jim and Vinona Cunningham; one nephew: Kristian Cox; aunts and uncles: Wilma Dove, Thelma Henico, Vernon Cox, James (Bud) Cunningham, Cletus Cunningham and John Cunningham.

        The family has requested that Memorial Contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

        Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN, with Pastor Dan Kemp officiating Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Linton, IN.

Flynn, Sandra K. Flynn nee Sefert

Sandra K. Flynn, age 69, of Albany, Ohio died Sunday December 30, 2012.  She was born June 13, 1943 in Barnesville, Ohio.  

She was known as Sandy by her friends and family. She was happily married for 49 years to Charles W. Flynn Jr.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Court TV, the Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and NASCAR.  She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, reading, Elvis Presley music and memorabilia and her beloved dogs. Sandy will be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her generous nature, her kind soul and her love and adoration for her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Arla Sefert, Madeline Sefert Mellinger, Dale Mellinger, infant sister April Mellinger, sister Bonnie Sensibaugh, and brother Charles (Chuck) Sefert.

Fossberg, Denzil "Denny" Fossberg

        Denzil "Denny" Fossberg, 83, of Grand Island died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

        Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Evangelical Free Church, with the Rev. John Crocker officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Lindale Cemetery near Hordville.

        Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island.

        Mr. Fossberg was born Nov. 8, 1928, on a farm between Hordville and Polk to Irvin and Aleta (Youmans) Fossberg. He graduated from Central City High School in 1947 and furthered his education graduating from Emporia State Teacher's College in Kansas in 1959. In 1971, he attended DePaul University in Chicago, Ill., doing work in Sheltered Workshop Administration.

        He was drafted into the United States Army in January of 1951, trained at Fort Riley, Kan., and went overseas in May of 1951. He joined the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the 1st Cavalry Division in Korea. He served as Regiment Postal Supervisor for 18 months in Korea and Japan. Upon separation from the Army in December of 1952, he remained in the Army Reserve serving a total of 30 years. He attained the rank of E-7 Sergeant First Class. He moved from postal duties to Supply Sergeant and Food Service Sergeant, where he received several accommodations. His final discharge was in 1988.

        He married Pat Holden in 1959 at Orion, Ill. There were two sons born to this union. He married Nancy Thompson on Dec. 24, 1975, Christmas Eve in Rock Island, Ill.

        Mr. Fossberg gained work experience in construction, truck driving and the printing industry. Yet his professional work was in Rehabilitation and Sheltered Workshop Administration in which he served as CEO for 30 years. His career took him to Aztec, N.M., Davenport, Iowa, Racine, Wis., Clinton, Iowa, Muscatine, Iowa, Thermopolis, Wyo., Crescent City, Calif., Broken Bow and Denison, Iowa. He retired in 1993 at which time they moved to Grand Island where they remained.

        Mr. Fossberg occupied his retirement by volunteering in several activities at the Evangelical Free Church, also doing Handicap Parking Monitoring under the direction of the Grand Island Police Department. Denny was also the handyman at the Central Nebraska Humane Society; Central Nebraska Motorist Assist Program, patrolling Interstate 80 finding motorists having problems and assisting them on their way, their nickname was the "Highway Angels."

        He was a member of the Evangelical Free Church, and active member of VFW 137 and a lifetime member of the VFW 1347 and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship by the rotary Club of Denison, Iowa, he also served on the board of Lindale Cemetery in Hordville as well as delivering meals on wheels to seniors.

        Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two sons, Scott Fossberg of South Bend, Ind., and Kelly Fossberg and wife, Theresa, of Joliet, Ill.; two stepsons, John Thompson of Des Moines, Iowa, and Danny Thompson of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; one granddaughter and three stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Gayle Kranau of Hastings and JoAnn Fossberg of Omaha; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

        He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dudley Fossberg, sister, Lola Meline and stepson, George Thompson.

        Memorials are suggested to the Lindale Cemetery Association.

        Evansville, Ind. -- Shirley Fraize, 72, of Evansville, passed away at her residence on Saturday, August 4, 2012.

        Shirley was a military wife. She lived for her family and spending time with them and was very strong in her faith.

        She is survived by sons, Gerald Fraize Jr. (Linda), John Fraize (Charlene), all of Evansville, Michael Fraize, of Knoxville, Tenn., and James Fraize (Tara), of Chandler; daughter, Sherry Boren (Jason), of Boonville; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marlin, Charles and Robert Grayson; sister, Mary Noble, all of Evansville.

        She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lucile Grayson; husband, Gerald Fraize; brothers, Buster Boyd and Mark Fraize,* daughter, Donna Fraize; and son, Gerald Fraize.

        Visitation will from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2012, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave.

        Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jerry Daniels officiating.

       Grethel was a homemaker and was a former restaurant worker. She was also a member of the Goudy Church of Christ near Woodsfield, Ohio.

        In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank; and one sister, Freda Ellen Snyder.

        Surviving are two sisters, Norma Jean (Jim) Gattrel of Byesville, Ohio, Verna Belle Butler of Caldwell, Ohio; one brother, Charles F. (Deborah) Snyder of Caldwell, Ohio and several niece and nephews.

Freitag, Blanche M. Freitag 1929-2012

     WOODSFIELD -- Blanche M. Freitag, 83, of Cambridge (formerly of Woodsfield), passed away Thursday (Dec. 27, 2012 at the Victorian Oaks, Cambridge.  She was born near Malvern, on Aug. 22, 1929, a daughter of the late Harry Harrison Leggett and Myrtle Olive John Stoffer Leggett.

     Blanche was a retired LPN and store clerk; a charter member of the First Baptist Church, Woodsfield, and also the Highland Baptist Church, Grove City; and a former member of the Woodsfield Emergency Squad and a former member of the Pythian Sisters, Lydia Chapter, Woodsfield.

           In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin A. "Bus" Freitag, on April 9, 1985; a daughter, Sharol Marie Moore; six brothers, Emery, Joe, Duane, James, John Leggett and Loyal Stoffer; and one sister, Jean Grogg.

     Surviving are one daughter, Carol Dawn (Don) Six of Sarasota, Fla..; one son, David Arthur Freitag of Woodsfield; two sisters, Esther Nichols of Malvern, and Ethyle Ferguson of Malvern; a son-in-law, Jim (Darla) Moore of Cambridge; a sister-in-law, Eunice Dailey of Woodsfield; five grandchildren, Kim (Todd) Lynch, Mike (Cherri) Truax, Steve Truax, Brian (Tiffany) Moore, Sherry (C.J.) Andrews; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church, 114 N. Paul St., Woodsfield, from 3 to 6 p.m. today (Sunday), where funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today (Sunday) with Tommy Mills officiating.

Fry, George Frye III  “Martin”

George "Martin" Fry III, 68, of Delaware and formerly of Marietta, passed away early Monday morning (Dec. 10, 2012) at his home. He was born March 29, 1944, in New Martinsville, W.Va. to George Martin Fry Jr. and Elizabeth Ann (Tisher) Fry and later graduated from Marietta College.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Josephine "Jo" (Palmer); two daughters, Alicia Holt of Delaware and Beth Fry of Westport, Conn.; his parents of Hannibal, Ohio; two grandchildren, Carson and Addison Holt; a sister, Brenda Sue (Brian) Binegar of Sardis, Ohio; and a nephew, James Feeney Jr. of Sardis.

In 2005, he retired as Senior Accountant with Alliance Industries in Marietta.

Martin was a huge supporter and fan of OSU Athletics and he was happiest surrounded by his family and friends. His legacy will live on in his treasured daughters and grandchildren.

He was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Woodsfield Nursing Home, and had worked at the Ohio Ferro Alloys for over 23 years. Dub also enjoyed building homes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his four daughters, Chriscinda Krasinski of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Tina (Gary) Cordery of Bellaire, Ohio, Catherine Stewart of Bellaire, Ohio and Cynthia Frye of Middletown, Maryland; five sisters, Florence Longwell of Woodsfield, Ohio, Verda Fankhauser, Elma Grasso and Flossie Murphy all of Canton, Ohio and Rena Crawford of Clarington, Ohio; and three brothers, Perry Frye of Hannibal, Ohio, Junior Frye of Clarington, Ohio and Ross Frye of Woodsfield, Ohio. Also five grandchildren, Angela, Jason, Tasha, Toni and Megan; and four great- grandchildren, Timothy, Skylar, Madison and Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Andrews and a brother, Sammy Gabel. 

 Surviving are a brother, Arthur "Pete" Gabel of Beallsville; two sisters, Linda Baker of Beallsville and Sally (Randy) Hashman of Barnesville; six nieces and nephews, Julie, Jay, Joseph, Jake, Melissa, and Kathy.

        He was born September 28, 1935 in Powhatan Point, OH, a son of the late Clifford and Ruth (Cronin) Gallaher.

       He was Christian by faith and a retired coal miner for North American Coal. Forest was a family man, who loved spending time his wife and family. He also loved the outdoors, riding his motorcycle, hunting and car racing.

        In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Wilma Lodi, Vera Horvath, and Betty Coss.

        Forest is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Melda (Barton) Gallaher, of Powhatan Point, OH; four children, Jody (Albert) DeBlasis, of Powhatan Point, OH, Amy (Ron) McVay, of Belmont, OH, Stacy (Scott) Cross, of Powhatan Point, OH and Forest Jr. "Bud" (Stacy) Gallaher, of Jacobsburg, OH; his brother, Howard Gallaher, and his sister, Wanda Glasgow, both of Powhatan Point, OH; 10 grandchildren, Jamie (Dave) Plumby, Dana Snegg, Amy Snedeker, Dusty (Erin) McVay, Bryce and Brok Cross, Miranda Hall, Delaney, Kacie and Eli Gallaher; four great- grandchildren, Kayla McCloud, Madison Meade, Gavin McVay and Mackenzie McVay.

Geisler, Capt. Larry G., age 76, of Duffy, OH, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the New Martinsville Care & Rehab Center, New Martinsville, WV.

He was born February 8, 1936 in Duffy, the son of the late Harry and Vesta Potts Geisler.

Larry was a 1954 graduate of Hannibal High School; a retired river boat captain as well as owner of Valley Boat Docks and Valley Marine Service in Duffy, selling fuel and other supplies to the river traffic.

He built his first steel hull when he was only 21 years old and began work in the towboat business. Larry worked his boat on all phases of the construction of the Hannibal Locks and Dam as well as the Hydro Plant; towed barges during the construction of the New Martinsville bridge and when old Lock 15 was demolished, to name a few. Larry had an extensive knowledge of the river and its history.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Garnet (Guy) Robertson.

Survivors include a nephew, Ray Robertson of Cicero, IL; a niece, Linda (Ken) Jelinek of Middleton, WI; and several cousins.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home, 37234 Mound Street, Sardis, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Jerry Yost officiating.

Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville.

        Former Rib Lake area resident Allen "Al" R. Gnotke, 85, King, died on Tuesday, June 26 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.

        Services will be held at a later date. Cremainal inurnment will take place at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.

        Hemer & Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

        Allen Gnotke was born on August 21, 1926 in Rib Lake to the late Emil and Elsie (Hippi) Gnotke.

        He attended Rib Lake Grade School and was a 1943 graduate of Rib Lake High School. He entered the United States Navy during World War II and served for eight years, then enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1953 and served until 1960.

        On May 1, 1976 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, he married Ruth M. Kincade, who preceded him in death on June 9, 1995. He worked at Hurd Millwork as a millworker for 32 years until his retirement in 1991. He also played in various bands including the Ray Becker Orchestra and the Medicanes and Frankies Meloderes.

        He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Lehman-Clendenning American Legion, and past member of the American Federation of Musicians. He enjoyed woodworking, playing the drums, hunting and fishing.

        He is survived by cousins.

        In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Willard.

        John was born in New Jersey on August 23, 1950 and passed away on June 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents.

        John worked his* as a top electrician in Beverly Hills and the surrounding area. John enjoyed westerns but when football season came his Philadelphia Eagles ruled. Horse racing was his second love in sports where he was a well respected handicapper. John was not a physically well man. He went to work when he could refuse to be on the dole. We who knew John will him dearly.

Mary Lee was a retired clerk for Bellwood Drug Store, Woodsfield, OH, with 45 years of service; a member of the Woodsfield Christian Church, Woodsfield, OH where she was a member of the Helping Hands.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Graham on March 30, 2010.

Surviving are several cousins and numerous friends.

        Bonnie Mae Henthorn Grandstaff, age 61, of Canton formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio died Thursday December 27, 2012 at the Mercy Medical Center Canton, Ohio.  She was born in Monroe County Ohio December 23, 1951 a daughter of the late Everett Okey & Goldie Alberta Morris Henthorn.

        She was a member of the Church of Christ.

        In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers; Larry and Dale Henthorn, and paternal grandparents; Charles and Susie Henthorn.

        She is survived by two daughters; Rhonda & Eva Grandstaff of Canton, Ohio, one brother; Vernon Henthorn of Revenna,* Ohio, and one sister; Linda (Albert) Broemsen of Beallsville, Ohio, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, special friend Ron Grandstaff of Cambridge, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

        CONNEAUT — Ann (Pratt) Grant, age 98, of Conneaut, Ohio, died at her home on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 29, 2012.

        She was born Sept. 16, 1913, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of William J. and Ida (Dunlap) Pratt.

        A Conneaut resident for most of her life, Ann retired March 12, 1981, as Clerk of Courts of the Conneaut Municipal Court. At the time of her retirement, she had the longest tenure, 40 years, as clerk of courts in the state. During that time, she served under Judge Applebee, Judge Lynn Richards and Judge Jack Stolson.

        She was a member of St. Mary/St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church where she volunteered for seven years doing clerical work and was a member of C.D. of A. She also volunteered at the 50/50 Barn Thrift Shop for many years. She enjoyed genealogy and reading and loved her family and animals.

        Survivors include her immediate care givers, nieces, Patricia A. (Mark) Dubinsky of Conneaut, Mary A. LaBounty of North Kingsville, Ohio and nephew, Andrew P. Grant of Conneaut. Also surviving are her brother-in-law, Edgar Carroll of Conneaut; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

        She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard A. Grant in 1967; and her son, Lt. Thomas R. Grant on Jan. 28, 1966, who was the first Ashtabula County resident to be killed in Viet Nam. Also preceding her were three sisters, Elizabeth Carroll, Ardys Coe and Jane Laughlin; and two brothers, Richard D. Pratt and John Pratt.

        A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 3rd, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut, Ohio, with the Rev. Philip Miller presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.

        No calling hours will be observed.

        She was a Pharmacy Technician at Ryman-Terrett Pharmacy for many years. Paulette had a deep love of family.

        In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Clinton Ray Huntsman.

        Paulette is survived by her sons, David A. (Carol) Huntsman and Eric L. (Misty) Huntsman; sister, Donna (John) McLeish; brother, Gene (Cookie) Agin; grandchildren, Eric, Shawn, Breanna, Blake, Jenna, Adam, Logan and Aaron; great-grandson, Lucas; special friend, Cathy Martin; and her dog, Buffy.

Brian Keith Greene, 47, of Waterford, passed away Friday (Nov. 9, 2012) at his home. He was born March 3, 1965, at Chesterville, Ohio, a son of the late Donald O. and Nola E. Barnhart Greene.

Brian had worked for 26 years at Fenton Art Glass as a glass blower. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved hid dog "Max."

Surviving is a son, Jason Greene of Marietta; two grandchildren, Brianna and Alexis; two brothers, Randy (Deborah) Greene of Waterford and Douglas (Sharon) Greene of Palo Alto, Calif.; three sisters, Bonita Cronin of Marietta, Peggy Fleming of Conowingo, Md., and Joyce Buck of Graysville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Rose Coletto of Marietta. He is also survived by his significant other of 15 years, Susan Dyar and her son, Nathan Dyar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Allen Greene.

She was a member of Bellaire Christian Church; and the former Order of Eastern Star #581, Shadyside, now Captina #489, Powhatan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Broderick L. Gross; and sisters, Vivian Gillespie, Mary McLaughlin, Martha Rossow, and Eva Decker.

Survivors include two sons, Reed (Joanne) Gross of Streetsboro, OH, and Richard Gross of Bellaire; two sisters, Shirley Headley, and Fern Ackerman, both of Woodsfield, OH, a brother, Edward Reed of Beallsville, OH; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Sunday from 12-3 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd Street, Bellaire where funeral services will be held Monday at 11am with Rev. Gerald Garloch officiating.

        Earl F. Gutberlet, 72, of Marietta, went home on Monday (May 21, 2012) at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg.

        He was born on Feb. 20, 1940, in Marietta, a son of Earl D. and Alfreda L. King Gutberlet. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1958, was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves and Evergreen Bible Church. He retired from Fenton Art Glass in 2000.

        On June 28, 1959, he married Janice Heslop Gutberlet who survives with one daughter and three sons: Deborah Huffman of Belpre, Merle (Lori) Gutberlet of Columbus, Ohio, Earl (Linda) Gutberlet of Spartansburg, Pa., Michael (Cheryl) Gutberlet of Mauldin, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Julia (Ronald) Wright of Marietta and Elaine Mace of New Marshfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

        He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Sarah Sue Huffman, and two brothers-in-law.

        Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 25) at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Bible Church with Pastor Steve Thibault officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park with a reception following at the church. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral home.

        Edith was born Monday, April 26, 1926, in Wingett Run, to the late Otis and Lora Decker Haught.

        She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Gutberlet of Huber Heights; and her grandchildren, Marie Kiley (Joseph) of Huber Heights, and Dale Gutberlet (Kathy) of Franklin, New Hampshire; great-grandchildren, Brennen, Keegan and Nolan Kiley, all of Huber Heights.

        In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Richard Gutberlet (Feb. 5, 2006); daughter, Linda Gutberlet; brother, Loren Haught; and sisters, Ilene Greathouse and June Gutberlet.

John A. Hagerman, age 95, of Beverly Hills, California formerly of Stafford, Ohio died Friday September 14, 2012 at Culver West Convalescent Hospital in Los Angeles, California.  He was born in Stafford, Ohio August 6, 1917 a son of the late Charles & Addie Hardesty Hagerman. 

John retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was also a retired salesman for a lighting company.  He was a great Dodgers Fan, and never forgot his Monroe County Roots. 

John is survived by his sister Mary Boorman of Beverly Hills, California and many cousins in Monroe County.  

 Graveside Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday September 20, 2012 at the Stafford Cemetery Stafford, Ohio with Rev. William Moran officiating.

        ZANESVILLE: Diana Lynn Coss Hall, 56, of Zanesville went to be with the Lord on Friday June 22, 2012 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

        She was born in Zanesville on August 24, 1955 to Ray and Rosalie Anderson Coss of Zanesville. She received a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Business Administration. She was employed in the Lab at Genesis for over 30 years. She was devoted to helping other people and especially enjoyed being involved with Zaney Follies and even through her sickness she was still able to participate this year. She was a devoted Christian and dearly loved her Church family at South Gate Church of Christ in Heath.

        In addition to her parents she is survived by a son Byron Warne of Zanesville; a daughter Jessica (Shane Hennessy) Warne of Zanesville; a sister Debbie Pace of Huntsville, Alabama.

        She was preceded in death by a brother Duane Coss.

        Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday June 25 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. CUMBERLAND -- Julia E. Hall, 100, passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday (Feb. 21, 2012) at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Dec. 10, 1911, daughter to the late Otis and Jessie (Fulton) Connor.

Mrs. Hall was homemaker by nature, loving to cook and keep house. She started her nurses training in 1935 and worked for Grace Hospital in Detroit.

She was also a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Cumberland for many years.

She is survived by a son, Ashley Lynn (Alice Jean) Hall of Cumberland; and daughter-in-law, Rachel Hall of Cumberland; three granddaughters, Kim (Troy) Scott of Cumberland, Crystal (Scott) Tubbs of Powell and Megan (Kevin) Mowder of Lewisville; eight great-grandchildren, Adam and Ashley Hall, Alex Scott, Autumn, Luke and Grant Tubbs, and Kamryn and Amber Mowder.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Dec. 22, 1992, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1938; a son, Doug Hall, in June 12, 2000; a sister, Ruth Ford, on Nov. 16, 2001; and an infant brother.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Farus Funeral Home, Cumberland, where services will be 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev Jim Gibson officiating.

Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery.

G. Neil Hamilton, 80, of Beallsville died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born May 02, 1932 in Beallsville, a son of the late Frank and Edna Decker Hamilton. 

He was a retired employee of the former CONALCO plant, near Hannibal and a US Army Veteran.  Neil was a member of the United Methodist Church, Beallsville and Sunsbury Lodge #362. 

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Nelda Perkins Hamilton; four children, Carla (Kevin) Kanzigg and Connie (Mike Bumgardner) Hamilton, both of Beallsville, Guy (Jennifer) Hamilton of Pennsylvania, and Neila (Ed) Grimm of Milan; seven grandchildren, Derek and Stephanie Kanzigg, Donnie and Logan Brown, Adam and Abigail Hamilton, and Stephen Schee. 

 Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Tina Gallaher officiating. 

Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.  Masonic services will be conducted Sunday at 7:45 PM at the funeral home.

She was a retired inspector at the Timken Company, Columbus, Ohio with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Jackson Ridge Church of Christ near Woodsfield, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Laura Bach, Gertrude Hamilton, Geneva Lyons, and Eunice Hamilton; four brothers, Vernon, Thomas, Neil, and Oscar Hamilton.

Surviving are one sister, Sarah (Bernard) Krieg of Sardis, Ohio; one brother, Horace (Judy) Hamilton of Zanesville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

HAMILTON, John W., 82, of Beallsville, died Tuesday in the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born October 20, 1929 near Beallsville, a son of the late Lloyd and Laura Decker Hamilton. John was retired from Ormet Corporation, Hannibal and the Harper Funeral Home. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Beallsville, a member of Sunsbury Lodge 362, OES 24, Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge, Aladdin Shrine of Columbus, VFW Post 2792 and he was also a Charter Member of American Legion Post 768.

John was a very proud US Army Veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Lee Crooks.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Brock Hamilton; five children, Barbara (Walter) Dornon of Beallsville; Cynthia (Roger) Crooks of Alledonia; Stephanie (Bob) Morris of Grove City; Rebecca Hamilton of Hilliard; and John (Michelle) Hamilton of Beallsville; two brothers, Jerry (Nadene) Hamilton of Beallsville and Jim (Juanita) Hamilton of Barnesville; two sisters, Nancy (Bob) Garrison of Alledonia and Carolyn ( Dale) Caldwell of Beallsville; eight grandchildren: Jason (Heather) Dornon, Tony (Ashley) Dornon, Dawn (JC) Mercer, Justin (Natasha) Crooks, Haydn, Jack, Sam Wells, and Mariah Hamilton; seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Beallsville.

Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 768. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Columbus County mother, daughter die in crash that injured younger woman's husband, baby

        FAIR BLUFF - A mother and daughter died in a collision with a tractor-trailer that injured the younger woman's husband and infant child Thursday afternoon, said Trooper E.E. Nance Jr. of the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

        Pamela Hamilton, 49, of Dave Meares Road in Cerro Gordo, died at the scene of the 2:19 p.m. crash on U.S. 76, 2.3 miles east of Fair Bluff, Assistant Columbus County Coroner William Hannah said.

        Hamilton's daughter, Jennifer Sanders, 26, of Andrew Jackson Highway SW in Fair Bluff, died later at McLeod Loris (S.C.) hospital, Columbus County Coroner Linwood Cartrette said.

        Sanders' husband, Billy Ray Sanders Jr., 27, and their 6-month-old daughter LeAnn Ray Sanders, were taken by ambulance to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Sanders was in critical condition Thursday night, while the baby was in stable condition, Nance said.

        Hamilton was driving a 1997 Ford Taurus and had slowed some distance ahead of the Sanderses' home, Nance said.

        A tractor-trailer loaded with grain, driven by Shual Gene Sellers, 31, of Old Stake Road in Chadbourn, moved to the left lane and was attempting to pass the Ford when Hamilton turned left, heading for her daughter's driveway.

        The truck slammed into the driver's side of the small car. Hamilton died in the car of massive head trauma, Hannah said.

        No charges are anticipated, Nance said.

        A 49-year-old woman and her 26-year-old daughter were killed Thursday afternoon in the crash of a car, driven by the mother, that abruptly turned left in front of a passing 18-wheel grain truck just east of Fair Bluff.

        Highway Patrol Trooper Gene Nance said Pamela Casto Hamilton, 49, of Dave Meares Road, Cerro Gordo, died at the scene in the 2:19 p.m. crash. Jennifer Dawn Bigley Sanders of the 11100 block of U.S. 76, Fair Bluff, died at a Loris, S.C., hospital.

        Sanders' husband, Billy Ray Sanders Jr., 27, and their 1-year-old daughter, Leann Ray Sanders, were injured. Both were released from a Myrtle Beach, S.C., hospital during the weekend. The child was in a child-restraint seat, Nance noted.

No turn signal

        The double-fatality wreck raised the number killed on Columbus County's roads this year to nine, eight of them in rural wrecks, and one in Tabor City.

        Nance said the truck driver, Shula Gene Sellers, 31, of Old Stake Road, Chadbourn, said he saw a 1997 Ford car slowing in front of him as the vehicles headed west on U.S. 76, near the intersection of Ice Plant Road.

        Nance said Sellers told him he moved to the left to pass the car, and the car – not using a turn signal – abruptly turned left toward a private driveway in the 11100 block of U.S. 76, the home of the Sanders couple. The truck was traveling an estimated 55 mph, and was loaded with grain. The truck is owned by T&L Transport with a N.C. 410 South, Chadbourn, address.

Helicopters

        Nance said it didn't appear any of the victims were trapped. The child was moved to the Myrtle Beach hospital from Loris, and Billy Ray Sanders Jr. was moved to the beach facility from the Loris hospital by helicopter, the trooper added.

        A rescue helicopter was called to the scene, but was not used to transport any of the injured.

        Maria Sellers, 34, a passenger in the truck, and Sellers were not injured in the crash.

        Nance said the impact of the truck hitting the driver's side of the car knocked the car into a ditch, and the truck eventually stopped in a ditch beyond the point of impact.

He was born in Bellaire, Ohio on August 6, 1935 to the late Edward and Savilla Ross Hannan.

He retired from Ormet Aluminum after 41 years of hard work. A member of the Powhatan Nazarene Church, he was a devout Christian. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but loved nothing more than spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hannan, and his sister, Alberta Porter.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Wilma McVay Hannan; his three children, Rick (Pam) Hannan of Jacobsburg, Ohio, Randy (Kim) Hannan of Cambridge, Ohio and Rhonda (Rob) Rineer of San Antonio, Texas; his seven grandchildren, Jeramy Hannan, Nicole Cardona, Mandy Hornbeck, Kara McFarland, Brittany Hannan, Katelyn Hannan and Alana Rineer; his six great-grandchildren; his five sisters, Ruth Lawrence of Waco, Texas, Geneva Bell of Clarington, Ohio, Joanne Freno of Shadyside, Ohio, Judith Gerdau of Shadyside, Ohio and Carol Shaddock of Garland, Texas; his favorite brother-in-law, Delmas McVay of Powhatan Point, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and his faithful cat, Emma.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Matt Collins and Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating.

Interment in the Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.

Harman, Ronnie, Jr., age 36, of Hannibal, Ohio, died Thursday, April 5, 2012. He was born March 9, 1976 in Bellaire, Ohio, the son of Ronald (Janice) Harman and Debra Parsons (Charles) Harman.

Ronnie was a bolter at McElroy Mine, Cameron Portal; and a member of Dogskin Hunting Club and UMWA.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Harman.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of two years, Tracy Ensinger Harman; two daughters, Karah Harman and Madison Harman; a stepson, Austin Curtis; a stepdaughter, Brittany Curtis; maternal grandparents, Bill and Bonnie Parsons; a stepsister, Lisa Baker; and five step brothers, Brian Boan, Chuck, Chad, Chris and Chortney Harman.

Hart, Vada G., age 86, of New Martinsville, WV, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at her daughter's residence in New Martinsville. She was born July 31, 1925 in Wellington, KS, the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Anderson Thompson.

Vada was a 4-H Leader for 30 years and a member of the Homemakers Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell L. Hart in February 2003; five brothers, Edward Jr., Wayne, Ted, Loren and Floyd Thompson; two sisters, Dorothy Brinkerholph and Leota Summerville; and a grandson, Jason Carl White.

Survivors include a son, Greg Hart of New Martinsville; four daughters, Myra Hart and Lynnda Bridgeman, both of New Martinsville, Patricia McMahan of Knoxville, TN and Kathy Longwell of Woodsfield, OH; five grandchildren, Megan Bridgeman, Joshua White, and Stephen, Justin and Haley McMahan; five great grandchildren, four nephews, James Thompson of Concord, NC, Leon Summerville, Lane Summerville and David Thompson of Parkersburg, WV; and a niece, Debbie Thompson of Rochester, NY.

        Dorie was taken on the wings of angels to be with her Savior on Feb. 28, 2012.

        She was born Feb. 1, 1934, to Merton and Lydia (Miller) Scalf. She married the love of her life, Ira "Wade" Hayes, on Feb. 5, 1951. Spending time and traveling with and taking care of family brought great joy to her.

        Dorie was blessed with two sons, David (Barb) and Daniel (Linda); five grandchildren, David Jr. (Lawanda), Mathew, Susan (Keith), Jed and Wendy (Marc); and nine great-grandchildren. "Aunt Dorie" was also blessed with many nieces and nephews who were like children of her own. She is also survived by five sisters, Carolyn, Ethel (Don), Evelyn (Bob), Dorothy and Barbara; and one brother, Daniel (Linda).

        Doris was preceded in death by her mother and father; two sisters, Louisa and Iva; and two brothers, Calvin and George.

        As per Doris' wish, services will be held at a later date when the weather is warm and beautiful, so travel is safe and enjoyable.

        TELL  CITY — Marcella Hays, 70, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, because of complications of surgery. She was born March 31, 1942, to the late Frank and Anna (Hauser) Sifrig. Also preceding her in death were brothers George, Bernard and Clarence Sifrig.

        She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Hays of Tell City; sons, Terry Hays of Tell City and Rick (Linda) Hays of Rockport, Ind.; daughters, Julie (Dave) Hakes of Tell City and Cheryl Hays (Tom Morphew) of Lewisport; brothers, Walter (Mary June) Sifrig of Chesterfield, Mo., James Sifrig of Tell City and Raymond (Marjorie) Sifrig of Valparaiso, Ind.; sisters, Agnes (Chris) Gruver of Tell City and Anita Fulkerson of New Milford, Ill.; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mitch) Terry of Tell City, Christopher (Tasha) Hays of Huntingburg, Ind., Matthew Hakes of Tell City, Charles (Ayumi) Hays of Owensboro and Steven (Kayla) Hays of Rockport, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Terry and Dante' Hays.

        Jack R. Henico, age 65 of Linton, passed away Friday afternoon, May 4, 2012 at his residence.  He was born in Linton on Feb. 22, 1947, the son of Henry & Thelma "Tippy" Henico.  He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Roadway Express after 27 years of service.  He was a member of the American Legion Wayne Post #64 in Indianapolis.

        Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy S. (Folsom) Henico of Linton, two sons, Brad (Jamie) Henico of Pendleton and Jeff (Jeri Sue) Henico of Linton, a brother, Dennis Henico of Linton, and three grandsons, Jake, Tyler, and Briley Henico. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Bill Holder, and two sisters, Janet Taylor and Judy Weaver.

        METAMORA - Alma G. "Jerry" Hill, 80, of Metamora and of The Villages, Fla., died at 3:38 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages.

        Born May 16, 1931, in Peoria to Milan D. and Ruth D. Dungan Claybaugh, she married Robert R. Hill on Nov. 12, 1950 in Peoria. He survives.

        Also surviving are two daughters, Martha L. Schwend and Jolene A. (David) Miller; two sons, Gene Hill and Robert D. (Mary) Hill; one sister, Katy Gnehm; two brothers, Chuck (Karen) Claybaugh and Jim Claybaugh; five grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

        She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Milan Gnehm.

        She worked in medical benefits for Caterpillar Inc. for 17 years, retiring in 1990.

        In 1994, she and her husband, Bob, began spending their winters in The Villages.

        She was a member of Glen Oak Christian Church in Peoria and she attended North Lake Presbyterian Church in Florida.

        While at Glen Oak she served as Elder, Deacon, and Chairman of Property Committee and was a member of Women's Fellowship as well as taught first and second grade Vacation Bible School.

        She also was a Cub Scout leader, member of American Business Women's Association - Fondulac Chapter, tutored first grade at Glen Oak School, served on Proctor Hospital Services Auxiliary for several years and for many years enjoyed volunteering for SHIP (RSVP) helping seniors with health insurance problems.

        Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is handling arrangements.

        Cremation will be accorded. Family and friends will celebrate her life at Glen Oak Christian Church in early April 2012 at a time to be announced.

Hinderlong, Byron James “Jimmy” Hinderlong

Byron James “Jimmy” Hinderlong of Wayne, New Jersey died on Sunday, March 25, 2012. 

Jimmy was born in Miltonsburg, Ohio (population 29), a small and very rural farming town located in south eastern Ohio. He was raised by his mother Maida and his grandparents. His grandparents owned three small farms in Miltonsburg where they raised beef cattle and later his grandparents purchased the country store in the center of town. It was the only store within sixty miles. Jimmy and his family truly lived off of the land. Everything they ate was grown on their own farm, including their beef, and Jimmy would hunt squirrels, rabbits, groundhogs and deer as well. His mother and grandmother would can and cold pack everything he brought home. His home was the first one in town to be outfitted with indoor plumbing and electricity. He also saw the first street lights in town installed near his home and he recalls a man coming each evening to turn them on and then come back again in the morning to turn them off. Jimmy attended classes at a one room schoolhouse until entering high school. He went to Woodsfield High School and graduated with the Class of 1952. 

Jimmy joined the U.S. Army in 1955 and after training he was assigned to the Missle Division. He served at Fort Leonard Hood in Missouri, White Sands Missle Proving Grounds in New Mexico, and at Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook, NJ. He was eventually stationed in Wayne, at the NIKE Missile Base off of Rt. 23 and at the Radar Base which was located on Alps Road. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal in 1961. While in the Army, Jimmy rented a room from a family in Pompton Plains. He was introduced to a cute girl from Wayne named Gloria Gailey. They soon fell in love and married on August 1, 1959 at the Mountain View Methodist Church in Wayne by the Rev. Rhorbach. They honeymooned at Niagara Falls, NY and have enjoyed over fifty two years together. 

After his service he worked for A&C Paving in Pompton Plains. He later worked for the Grimal Excavating Company in Montville before retiring in 1991 after suffering a severe heart attack. 

Jimmy was a true outdoorsman and to say he enjoyed hunting would be an understatement. He was an original member of the Red Barn Hunting Club in the Catskills since 1956, as well as the South Gate Hunting Club at Smoke Rise in Kinnelon, and a Past President of the Deer Run Hunting Club in Branchville, NJ.

He was the loving husband to Gloria (Gailey) Hinderlong; loving father of Lisa Inzalaco of Wayne, and Bryon Hinderlong and his wife Michelle of Oak Ridge, NJ, and Bryon’s step-daughter; Nicole Yatsonsky of California. 

Friends may visit with the family at the Vander May Wayne Colonial Funeral Home, 567 Ratzer Road, Wayne, on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

A graveside service is planned for 11 AM on Friday March 30, 2012 at the Miltonsburg Cemetery in Miltonsburg, Ohio, where Jimmy will be buried with his mother.

Bertha Jane Hines, 74, of Westerville, Ohio (formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio) passed away Friday October 12, 2012 at her home. She was born on April 26, 1938 near Stafford, Ohio a daughter of the late Lonnie and Vivian Potts Hines.

Jane graduated from Wheeling Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. She was commissioned into the United States Air Force Nurse Corp in 1962 and retired as a Major from the U.S.A.F. Regular Corp in 1982. She served at Maxwell A.F.B., Montgomery, Alabama; Wright-Patterson A.F.B., Fairborn, Ohio; and Clark A.F.B., Philippines during the Vietnam War; Lockbourne A.F.B., Columbus, Ohio; Scott A.F.B., Illinois on duty as a flight nurse and assisting with the return of P.O.W.’s from Vietnam; Wiesbaden A.F.B. Wiesbaden, Germany; Edwards A.F.B., California; Loring A.F.B., Maine; and returned to Wright-Patterson A.F.B. before retiring from the U.S.A.F.

          She was loved much by her brother, sister and family. Her courage in fighting a debilitating illness was marked with bits of wisdom and humor. We will miss her presence in our lives.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Robert Hines.

          She is survived by her sister and brother-law, Hattie and Darrol (Bud) Byers, their daughter and son-in-law, Camala and Rick Nye and children Madison, Spenser, and Lincoln Nye; also their son and daughter-in-law Eric and Michele Byers and children Taylor, J.R., and Brandon Byers. Also surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Leonard George (Sonny) and Jean Hines, and their daughter Dr. Heather Hines, husband Adam, and child Evelyn; daughter Dr. Mitzi Hines and husband Herb. Miss Jane is also survived by the last of the lovable Potts women, Aunt Mabel.

          Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 11a.m. Monday until the time of services at 1p.m. with Keith Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio with full military graveside services.

        Allie Elizabeth (Morris) Hinton, 92, of Philpot, died Saturday morning, November 17, 2012 at her home.  She was born May 20, 1920 in Owensboro to the late James L. and Anna Bunch Morris.  She graduated from Owensboro Senior High School and married on February 8, 1942 in Bremerton, Washington to Paul A. Hinton.

        She was a Christian, baptized at the First Christian Church and joined the Catholic Church after her marriage.  She retired from Murphy Chair Co. in 1971.  Following her retirement, she became interested in genealogy tracing her ancestors.  She was a 30 year member of the Gen. Evans Shelby Chapter of the NSDAR with 8 proven lines.       Elizabeth was a former member of the West Central Kentucky Genealogy Society and a former member of the Owensboro Quilters Guild.  An avid quilter who enjoyed making quilts for family and friends.  Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

        Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul A. Hinton; an infant son, Paul A. Hinton Jr.; two sisters, Omie Nell Morris and an infant sister; and two brothers, Louis and Elmer Morris. 

        She is survived by three sons:  Jimmie (Judy) of Galion, OH; Michael (Debbie) of Carrolton, OH and Steven (Faye) of Whitesville; a daughter, Paula Frichtl (Linden) of St. Philips, IN; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a special niece, Anna Louise Miles; two sisters-in-law, Clarita Mayfield and Vivian Roby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

        Visitation from 2 to 8 pm Tuesday and from 10 to 11 am Wednesday at Cecil Funeral Home in Whitesville, followed by graveside services at Resurrection Cemetery in Philpot with Jeremy Stone officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Lloyd Milton “Damn it Man” Holcomb, age 73, of Alledonia, Ohio died Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the  VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System University Drive in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia August 4, 1939 a son of the late Charles & Lorenia Clark Holcomb. 

He was a motor re-winder, a US Army veteran, member of the American Legion of Beallsville, Ohio and the VFW. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother. 

He is survived by five sons; Lee (Lisa) Price of Woodsfield, Ohio, Robert Price of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Shannon (Laurie) Price of Somerton, Ohio, Michael (Jody) Holcomb of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Chad Holcomb of Woodsfield, and one daughter; Amanda Holcomb of Beallsville, Ohio, two sisters; Sadie (Jim) Taylor, and Barb Hamad both of Akron, Ohio, seventeen grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends received from 7 - 9 p.m. Friday, and from 12:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. Saturday August 11, 2012 at the Bauer -Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield, Ohio, with Brent Roth officiating.

        GALESBURG, Ill. - Betty Jean Holden, a resident of Marigold Nursing Home, Galesburg, formerly from Orion, Ill., and Bishop Hill, Ill., passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012.         Betty was born August 28, 1922, in Toulon, Ill., the fourth child of Nelson and Edith Claybaugh Kilby. She married Willard John Holden on August 28, 1938, in Orion. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1991. Her life was filled with caring for others in her family. Her beloved hobby was raising flowers, shrubs and fruit trees which surrounded her homes like a fairyland. She attended Henry County schools and was a member of the Orion Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress employed by Eudema Hoffman in Moline as a custom quilter.

        Betty is survived by her daughter, Pat Fossberg and partner (Joan Crotts) Bishop Hill; grandchildren, Scott Fossberg, South Bend, Ind., and Kelly (Theresa) Fossberg, Joliet, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Linda Holden, Bishop Hill; great-granddaughter, Michaela Fossberg, Joliet; sister, Grace V. Schillinger-Case, Silvis; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Steve Holden; brother, Nelson J. Kenneth “Smokepole” Holland, 67, of Rinard Mills, on April 30, 2012 was called home to his Lord, after a lengthy illness, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 13, 1944 to Bessie (Kuhn) and Dale Holland in Rinard Mills, Ohio.

Kenneth attended Stafford High School. He had worked as a millwright, a meat cutter at Colegate Food Center, and a newspaper courier for The Marietta Times until his retirement. Kenneth also served in the US Army. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

On August 15, 1967 Kenneth married Bernadine Grose who survives with sons John (fiancé Rebecca Taylor) Holland of Stafford, Michael (Kelly) Holland of Marietta, and Brian (special friend Melayne Pritchett) Holland of Rinard Mills, grandchildren Casey and Catherine Holland of Beallsville, Cody and Rylee Holland of Marietta, a brother Gary (Janet) Holland of Woodsfield and Several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents Hiram and Martha Kuhn, paternal grandparents Harvey and Mary Holland, infant daughter Barbara, sisters Hazel Stark and Evelyn Phillips, infant brother John Holland nephews James Allen and Christopher Michael Holland.

A benefit planned for May 5th, 2012 from 4 to 9 at the Graysville Fire Department will continue as planned.

       Roy W. Hoskinson, age 79, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed from this life December 4, 2012.  He was born in rural Monroe County Ohio November 6, 1933 a son of the late Roy E. and Ella Grant Hoskinson. 

       Roy was a 1952 graduate of Woodsfield High School and Retired from Ormet Corp. Hannibal, Ohio.  He was a member of the famous undefeated basketball team of 1952.  He attended Marietta College and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1956. 

       In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister. 

       He is survived by his son Christopher Hoskinson of Woodsfield and daughter Julia (Dale) Pletcher of Woodsfield, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Also his brother, Gary (Joyce) Hoskinson of Woodsfield, sister, Betty Covert and children of Canton, Ohio.

SUMMERFIELD -- William "Bill" J. Hupp, 64, of Summerfield, passed away Saturday (July 28, 2012) at the Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell.

He was born March 17, 1948, a son of Albert and Irene Archer Hupp, who survive of Summerfield.

Bill was a self-employed farmer and a member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church near Lewisville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Post 415, Summerfield.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Deborah Leyda Hupp, whom he married Sept. 24, 1977; one daughter, Melissa (Thomas) Robbins of Cumberland Gap, Tenn.; one son, Gene Hupp of Woodsfield; five brothers, Bob (Anna) Hupp of Belle Valley, Phil Hupp of Summerfield, John (Cheryl) Hupp of Sarahsville, Joe (Davina) Hupp of Summerfield, and Jim (Theresa) Hupp of Caldwell; four sisters, Jane (Billie) Harris of New Albany, Jose (Dick) Knight of Columbus, Julie (Ronnie) Saling of Caldwell, and Diane (Gary) Cox of New Albany; two grandchildren, Harper Robbins and Kenley Hupp; his mother-in-law, Maxine Woodford of Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.

She was born August 28, 1912 in Clarington, the daughter of the late Jess and Lottie Mellott Ross.

Elizabeth was a member of the Church of Christ in Duffy, Ohio and the Rebekah Lodge in Hannibal, Ohio. She loved to quilt, belonged to quilting circles, and loved to travel and play bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Nelson; second husband, Mike Hvizdzak; a daughter, Marylena Frye; a son, Danny "Jake" Hvizdzak and two infant sons; two great granddaughters, Amber Reiman and Christy Baker; and a sister, Ida Haslam.

Survivors include a daughter, Vernia Howell of Clarington; a son, Mike Hvizdzak of Largo, FL; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Clarington Cemetery with Pastor Darla Schnegg officiating.

        She was born September 22, 1936 in Delia, Kansas the daughter of Lemuel D. and Edna (Burns) Place. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1954. On June 23, 1956 Olive married Everett L. Hyatt in Holton. She had worked at the Slimaker Dress Factory and Trails Café. She was a member of the Citizen Band Potawatomi Tribe and attended Mayetta United Methodist Church.

        She is survived by: her husband, Everett, of the home; her son, Randy Hyatt, Sr. of Holton, KS; her sister, Ruth Long of Holton, KS; her ten grandchildren, Cassandra, Stephanie, Megan, Kristina, Randy, Jr., Nicholas, Joseph, Katie, Crystalynn and Trey; and her five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Dean Hyatt in 2008 and her brother Glenn “Tiny” Place in 2007.

Johnson, Shirl Edward, age 88, of Hannibal, Ohio died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at his home. He was born October 12, 1923 in Burton, WV, a son of the late Alva Elonzo and Stella Pearl Wilson Johnson.

He was a retired employee of Conalco, Hannibal, Ohio and was a member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, A. Jeanne Johnson; one brother, Virgil Johnson and one sister, Wilda Drummond.

Survivors include a son, Greg (Jeanne) Johnson of Hannibal; a foster son Gary (Nan) Thompson of Wipple, OH; a foster grandson, Derek Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, where services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.

Burial will follow in Harter Cemetery, Hannibal.

        ZANESVILLE: Wendy S. Johnson, 43, of Zanesville, died at 9:33 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1969 in Zanesville, a daughter of Bernice Harper Haines of Zanesville, and the late William Haines. Wendy worked as a screen printer for Fine-Line Imprints.

        Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Adam E. Johnson, whom she married September 10, 2005; a daughter, Alexa (Jason) Flowers of Zanesville; a son, Jonathon (Tara) Swartz of Zanesville; two brothers, Harry (Barbara) Fluhart of Columbus and Bill (Claudia) Fluhart of Dayton; three sisters, Vickie Chippione of Zanesville, Melody Zurdo of Worthington, and Teresa Smith of Zanesville; her maternal grandmother, Lucille Harper of Zanesville; and many nieces and nephews.

        Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville. Joksimovic, Radisa Joksimovic “Rod”

He was born April 19, 1940 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, a son of the late Radic and Dusanka Milosavljevic.

Rod was a retired employee of Consol Energy's Enlow Mine at West Finley, Pa., where he was known as Hugo. He was a member of the UMWA and the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church in Steubenville, Ohio. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, soccer, and most of all his son Eric playing softball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Hilda Milosavljevic and an infant brother.

Surviving are his loving wife, Linda K. Fuchs Joksimovic, two sons; Eric Joksimovic of Powhatan and Slavisa Joksimovic of Yugoslavia, a daughter; Slavica Milovanovic of Yugoslavia, four brothers; Pete (Tina) Milosavljevic, Ronnie (Randa) Milosavljevic and Mark (Terri) Milosavljevic all of Clarington, OH, Mirko (Shirley) Milosavljevic of Beallsville, OH, three sisters; Ilona (Greg) Baber of Somerset, KY., Lila Milosavljevic of Woodsfield, OH and Marian (Charlie) Thomas of Clarington, several nieces and nephews, a special Aunt Rada of Australia.

Cecil E. Jones, age 85, of Sardis, Ohio died Wednesday October 31, 2012 at the New Martinsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born in Monroe County Ohio July 19, 1927 a son of the late Charles M. and Leota M. Farmer Jones.   

Cecil was retired from Ormet Corp. Hannibal, Ohio and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. 

Preceded in death by four brothers; Paul, Charles, Ned and Arden, and one sister; Ruth Johnson. 

He is survived by his wife; Deloris Lallathin Jones of Sardis, one daughter; Karen (Bill) Pugh of New Martinsville, West Virginia, and one son; Kevin Jones of Sardis, Ohio, two sisters; Grace Grossenbacher of Sardis, and Mary Alice (Jack) Jones of Doylestown, sister-in-law; Maxine Jones of Ravenna, two grandchildren; Tim Pugh of Paden City, West Virginia, and Jennifer Pugh of New Martinsville, and one great grandchild; Owen Pugh of Paden City. 

Private Services will be held Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Don Thompson officiating.

She was born at Parkersburg, West Virginia on November 9, 1953 a daughter of the late Hilbert and Eleanor Kibble Ault.

Deb was a former accountant and income tax preparer. She was also a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ, Woodsfield, Ohio.

          Surviving are her husband, John Jones of Cameron, Ohio; two daughters, Kelly (Kevin) Otto of Woodsfield, Ohio, and Kimberly (Garren) Brunner of Beallsville, Ohio; one son, Jason Jones of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Denise (Steve) Harris of Woodsfield, Ohio and Joyce Helmick of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kenton, Kolton, Kassidy Otto, Gavin Hulbert and Kaydence Brunner.

He was born at Sardis, Ohio on April 21, 1925 a son of the late Lawrence and Laura Marty Jones.

Ralph was a retired equipment operator at the Monroe County Dept. of Engineers; a former equipment operator for the Center Township Trustees; and a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Jackson Ridge Church of Christ near Woodsfield, Ohio, and a lifetime director of the Stumptown Steam Threshers Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles A. Jones and Lawrence W. Jones Jr. and a half sister, Louise Marty Baker.

Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Marie Ault Jones whom he married on April 21, 1946; three sons: Roger (Jean) Jones, Steve (Lisa) Jones, Bruce (Judy) Jones, all of Woodsfield, Ohio; two daughters: Donna (Wade) Groves, Janet (Kevin) Westfall, all of Woodsfield, Ohio; ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one step great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Joyner, Malcom Leroy "Mac" Joyner

        Funeral services for Malcom "Mack" Leroy Joyner will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel of Early. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral Home.

        Mr. Joyner passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.

        He was born May 4, 1938, in Brownwood, Texas, to Jack and Opal Joyner. He was the oldest of three children. On Jan. 19, 1956, Mac was married to Grace Ann McClung and to this union they were blessed with five children. He began his career in the oil field in 1956 and remained in the field for thirty years. Mac enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and going to auctions. He also had a true love for animals, such as the ones he left behind, Sassey and Nosey.

        Mac is survived by his wife, Grace Ann Joyner; daughter, Sherry McIntyre and her husband John McIntyre of Lindale, Texas; daughter, Cylinda Musick and her husband Dewayne Musick of May, Texas; one son, Gary Joyner and wife Rhonda Joyner of Brownwood, Texas; daughter, Tammy Myers and her husband Garry Myers of Abilene, Texas; daughter, Terri Joyner of Brownwood, Texas; Joy and David Haddox of Bryan, Texas; Sue and Jay Boyer of Bangs, Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mac is survived by a sister, Brenda Stearns and her husband Jimmy Stearns of Hico, Texas; a brother-in-law, Bill McClung and his wife Donna McClung of Highland Village, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

        He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Jack and Opal Joyner; his brother, Floyd Wayne Joyner; and granddaughter, Brandy Lea Daughrity.

        She was a member of the Christian Church and attended both Grandview and Beallsville Christian Churches. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, on November 9, 2004; a brother, Vernon Butler; a sister, Hilda Burkhart; a son-in-law, Larry Ogilbee; and a great-grandson, Levi Ogilbee.

       Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Ogilbee of Jacobsburg; three sons, Eugene (Donna) Kanzigg of Strongsville, Paul (Silvia) Kanzigg and Kevin (Carla) Kanzigg both of Beallsville; nine grandchildren, Lance, Justin, Jessica, Brian, Adam, Alexis, Alicia, Derek, and Stephanie; eight great-grandsons, Devin, Brady, Landon, Lane, Carson, Luke, Dominic, and Wyatt; her companion, Nelson Mobley of Paris; a sister-in-law, Cinderella Butler of Woodsfield.

She was born November 11, 1924 in Bellaire, OH, a daughter of the late Andrew and Frances Allietta Destifanes.

She was a retire sales clerk for the former Imperial Glass Corporation of Bellaire, OH and a member of the Bellaire Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Kennedy on April 16, 2002; two sisters, Martha Ice and Jenny Risler; one brother, James Destifanes and her sister- in-law, Lucile J. Kennedy.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara of Shadyside, OH; one sister, Frances Trubi of Detroit, Michigan and one brother, Andrew Destifanes of Bellaire, OH. GG will be fondly remembered by her grandson, Chuck Clark and his wife, Bianca; great grandchildren, Jacob, Bryce, Dascha, Zach and Sarah; two sisters-in-law, Sue Destifanes of Shadyside, OH and Betty Zaccaganini of Woodsfield, OH and three special nieces, Karen Kennedy Spirk, Kimberley Destifanes Gentile and Linda Destifanes Holloway and her three wonderful caregivers, Ellen, Ruth Ann and Beverly. Preceded in death by her husband; Harold B. “Cricket” Keylor in 2006, son; Jack D. Keylor in 2010, and a brother; Howard Miller. 

She is survived by her son; Harold (Butch) Keylor Jr., and his wife Cheryl of Dyer, Indiana, daughter-in-law; Donna Keylor of Woodsfield, sister; Esther Kimpel of Somerset, Ohio, sisters-in-law; Violet Miller and Geraldine Piatt of Woodsfield, 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

George was a retired laborer and a member of the Laborers Local #639, Marietta, Ohio. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5303, Woodsfield, Ohio, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Woodsfield, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Ethel Belford, Goldie Yantz, Stella Patton, and Viola May Kindle; twin sisters; and one brother, Jake Kindle.

Surviving are two sons, Randy (Karen) Kindle of Barnesville, Ohio, and Larry “Smoke” (Kelly) Kindle of Woodsfield, Ohio; two daughters, Theresa Clutter of Sardis, Ohio and Vickie Kindle of Lewisville, Ohio; two sisters, Bessie (Vernon) Morgan and Betty (Jim) Edgington both of Graysville, Ohio; three brothers, Ben Kindle of Lewisville, Ohio, Raymond Kindle of South Carolina, and Jim (Carolyn) Kindle of Bedford, Ohio; a special son-in-law, Jeff (Marsha) Wilson of Woodsfield, Ohio; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

        Martha Jane Kinkade, 81, of Oskaloosa and formerly of Sigourney, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at the Northern Mahaska Nursing and Rehab Center in Oskaloosa.

        She was born Oct. 26, 1930, in Keokuk County, the daughter of Bryan and Addie Baughman Sellers. She graduated from the Delta High School with the class of 1948. She was a homemaker. She moved to Oskaloosa in 2010. She was a member of the Delta Christian Church and attended the Delta Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was an immaculate housekeeper. She enjoyed playing Bingo later in life. She delighted in being with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

        Her family includes her three daughters, Diane Ferneau, of University Park, Debra (and Don) Nuetzhorn, of Nixa Mo., and Denise (and John) Fry, of Keswick; four grandchildren, Amy, Nichole, Christine (and Nathan), and Robert (and Keri); nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite Kirkpatrick, of North Carolina; a brother, Paul (and Karen) Sellers, of Sigourney; and many nieces and nephews.

        Martha was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother in infancy, Dwight Sellers.

        Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with the Rev. James Bringman officiating. As was Martha's wish her body will be cremated following the funeral ceremony. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Garrett Cemetery at a later date. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Monday after 12 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be at the funeral chapel on Monday evening from 6-8 to greet friends and relatives. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Mahaska Hospice.

 

Kinkade, Richard D. Kinkade

        BLOOMINGTON - Richard D. Kinkade, 84, Allen, Texas, formerly of Richardson, Texas, and Bloomington, passed away Dec. 7, 2012, at Allen, Texas.

        A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 29 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomington. Inurnment will be before the memorial service for the immediate family at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.

        In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

        Richard was born Feb. 5, 1928, in Toronto, Ohio, son of James and Florence Grindle Kinkade. Raised in Toronto, Richard aspired to be and became a professional musician. In 1946, he traveled to New York and became a member of the Paul Whiteman Orchestra. In 1947, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where for the next two years he played in the band. Discharged in 1949, he attended Ohio State University and attended the 1950 Rose Bowl where he played in the band. He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in music education.

        The Korean War re-activated Richard into the service, this time to the U.S. Air Force. While on active duty in Fort Polk, La., he met Betty Jo Thompson.

        They married on Dec. 27, 1953. The couple moved to Columbus, Ohio, where Richard began his employment and career with State Farm Insurance Cos. Richard also attended night law school at Franklin University in Columbus. He received his law degree and became a member of the Ohio Bar Association. His State Farm career moved Richard and his family to Philadelphia, Pa.; Frederick, Md.; and finally to Bloomington.

        He is survived by his children, Richard Douglas Kinkade Jr. and wife, Julie, Dallas, Texas; Kathleen K. Vardell and husband, Don, Richardson, Texas; James Kinkade and wife, Vanessa, Suwanee, Ga.; and William Kinkade and wife, Kathi Marshall, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Rachel Buckley and husband, John Paul; Laura Vardell; Blake Vardell and wife, Bergen; Brady Kinkade; Brianna Kinkade; and Brigett Kinkade; and great-grandson, Sam Buckley.

        He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Kinkade; wife, Betty Jo Kinkade; sister, Olive "Till" Symons; and brother, Thomas Kinkade.

He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City, and former member of the Mo Truck and Bus Assn. Bill loved gardening, the outdoors and gamebirds.

       He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kinkade, his parents, Elmer and Robbye Kinkade and brother, Ted Kinkade. Survivors include his sons, Bill Kinkade II, and wife, Vicki, Jim Kinkade, sister, Jane Ivey, grandchildren, Jason Kinkade, and wife Megan, Sarah Canovi, and husband, Marc, great grandchildren, Kelton and Liam Kinkade, Olivia and Ashton Canovi, cousins, nieces and nephews.

     Mary E. Kinney, 92, of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born December 17, 1919 in Morristown, Ohio, daughter of the late Ray Harley Barr and Dorothy Jane Moore Barr.

Born and raised in Morristown, Ohio, Mary wed the late Walter Kinney of Flushing, Ohio, then moved to Liberia, West Africa, where they lived for 20 years on the Firestone Rubber Plantation. While in Africa, they welcomed their only daughter, Sharon. They returned to Flushing, Ohio in 1970. Mary moved to Hannibal, Ohio in 1992 to be closer to her daughter.

     She was a homemaker, attended Flushing United Methodist Church and beauty college in Columbus, Ohio.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Milner.

     Mary is survived bt her daughter, Sharon D. Heslep of Hannibal, Ohio; granddaughter, Kayla Heslep (Scott Kerr); nieces, Joni Davis, Nancy Tacosik, and Mickey Prather; nephew, Jack Milner; and extended family, Bill and Trina Heslep and family and Duff Mahoney.

     Friends may visit Saturday 4 to 8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Barido& Patron Funeral Home, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio where services will be conducted, Sunday 1 p.m. Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.

Stanley Kinsey, 55, of Belmont, Ohio died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Ohio Valley Medical Center. He was born January 26, 1957 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, son of the late George J. Kinsey, Sr., and Tersa A. Brookover Kinsey. 

He worked as a truck driver for Sparta Steel and was a member of the Lafferty Moose, Fairpoint Polish Club, and the Bethesda Farmers and Sportsman Club. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Gary, Glen, Robert and Louis Kinsey and John Brookover; sisters, Patricia Smith and Betty Hoover. 

Stanley is survived by daughter, Carrie (Dave) Kinsey of Beallsville, Ohio; son, Jimmy (Patty) Kinsey of Barton, Ohio; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Jordan, Zachary, Courtney, Ann, and Chad; sister, Shirley McCarthy of Bethesda, Ohio; brothers, George Kinsey, Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio and Frank A. (Janet) Kinsey of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and special friend, Edna Kinsey.

John Raymond Kinzy, age 74, of Beallsville, Ohio died peacefully at his home Sunday April 22, 2012 with family and friends at his side.  He was born in Harrison County Ohio February 7, 1938 a son of the late Wayne & Gladys Grimm Kinzy.   

John was a former employee of Peerless Clay, Schmitt Nursery in Columbus, Ohio, North American Coal Company No. 1 Mine, Parr Dairy, J.B. Hunt as a long haul truck driver and a farmer. 

Preceded in death by two sons; Randy Kim Kinzy and Rodney Kevin Kinzy, two brothers; Clinton and Vernon Kinzy, and two sisters; Sandra Koran and Grace Stewart. 

          He is survived by his wife of 56 years Frances Crooks Kinzy, two daughters; Gayla (Tom) Neely of Bethesda, Ohio and April Kinzy of the home, one son; Ricky Kinzy of Powhatan Point, Ohio, two sisters; Phyllis Highman of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Annie Faye Abbott of Christmas, Florida, his special 4 wheeling buddy; Mark Huffman, his little dog Sophy Loren, ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.       
          Friends received from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday April 25, 2012 with Rodney West officiating.

Jim Knox, 81

Pharmacist

        James Ernest Knox, Jr., 81, of Burlington, Colorado, died peacefully Monday morning, March 19th, at Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital. Jim was born Wednesday, December 10, 1930, to James Ernest and Laura (Williams) Knox in Fort Morgan. He was a graduate of Fort Morgan High School, after which he attended the University of Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.

        Jim worked in a drugstore since the age of 13, and purchased his own store, W.B. Drug in Burlington in 1963. Jim married Beverly Lee Whetstine on June 17, 1951. They had four children, Randy J. Knox, (Nikki), Jamie Lynn Reed (Steve), Kevin R. Knox, (Bonita), and Heide Leigh Ridnour, (Tim). Jim has nine grandchildren, Michael Hertneky, (Crystal), Sheena Johnson, Kirra Collins, (Tyler), Randy J. Knox, Jr., Harper Reed, (Hiromi), Dylan Reed, (Sarah), Cole Ridnour, Kile Ridnour and Kory Ridnour. He has four great grandchildren, Tallon and Charisma Johnson and Courtney and Brittney Hertneky. Jim loved his family and took great joy in his grandchildren, whose accomplishments during their growing years were always proudly shared with his friends.

        He took such great pride in his store, W.B. Drug, especially after Lee’s death in 1989. Purchased in 1963, it became an important part of Burlington’s business community, especially during the holiday seasons.

Everyone remembers Jim’s fantastic parade floats, the Crazy Days sidewalk sales, grab bags and the Christmas Open House and Christmas Eve party at W.B. Drug. Jim was also an integral part of the Chamber of Commerce and many city organizations; the Carousel, Old Town and the schools.

        Jim loved to “dress the occasion” and more than a few will recall his crazy outfits he would don at the drop of a hat to promote this event or that holiday.

        Of course, motorcycles were also a great love of Jim’s. He looked forward to his annual pilgrimages to Sturgis, letting his hair down and just having a great time. He lived for Harley “stuff,” and his beloved motorcycles and riding them.

        He is survived by his children and their spouses, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, one brother-in-law, Robert Johnson, and a host of friends, who will always treasure their memories of Jim.

        Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Burlington United Methodist Church, 290 13th St., Burlington, Colorado, at 11 a.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later time.

        Memorial contributions to Old Town of Burlington and Caring Hands Hospice of Burlington can be made in Jim’s name in care of The Bank of Burlington, 410 14th St., Burlington, CO, 80807.

KOCHAN, Margaret L., 90, of Bellaire, Ohio died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Valley Hospice Care Center South's Liza's Place in Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born June 10, 1922 in Amsterdam, Ohio a daughter of the late, Joseph and Zuzanna Skolosh Sanitra.

Margaret was a homemaker and a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kochan in 1994; two brothers, Joseph and Andrew Sanitra and three sisters, Anne Waggoner, Mary Rapiey and Pearl Tistyan.

Surviving are her daughter, Susanne (Tom) Gregor of Clarington, Ohio and two grandchildren, Sarah Gregor of York Pennsylvania and Theodore (Grace) Gregor of Dayton, Ohio.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Father Daniel Heusel officiating.

 Interment in the Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, Ohio.

Of Jackson passed away December 26, 2012 age 92 years. He was born January 14, 1920. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Wanda, and one son John Darwin Kohn. Surviving are his son Kelly (Monica) Kohn, one granddaughter Samantha Kohn all of Jackson, two sisters; Phyllis Wallace of North Bend WA and Dean Hawley of Jackson, special niece: Phyllis (Jerry) Saltzgaber of San Francisco, CA and Beth (Larry) Haines of West Des Moines, IA,. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Pacific during WWII, retired from the State of Michigan Dept. of Corrections and was a part time bus driver for the Western School District for 25 years.         He was born January 18, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of the late John W. Jr. and Margaret (Harper) Kovach.

        He was retired from Murray Energy # 6 Coal Mine Powhatan Pt, OH, he also worked at North American Coal Mine # 3, Ohio-West Virginia Excavating Co., HLC Trucking and Moraine Material, Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of the Amity United Methodist Church Steinersville, Ohio, American Legion Post 228, Powhatan Point, Where he served as trustee for 18 years and 2 years as Commander and VFW Post 5565 Powhatan Point. He was a Navy Veteran.

        Surviving is his wife, Mary Lou Eikleberry Kovach, two sons, Roger Wayne (Gloria) Kovach and John )Alea) Kovach all of Powhatan Point, OH, a daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Buell of Naples, Italy, five sisters; Donna (Harold) Goudy of Oberlin, OH, Lorna (Junior) Pyles of Sardis, OH, Lula (Larry) McConn, and Kay (Samuel) Armann all of Powhatan Pt., OH and Sherry (Mark) Kreig of Shadyside, OH, eight grandchildren; Roger Kovach III and Marie Kovach of Pelkie, MI, Alexis and Evan Buell of Naples, Italy, Breanna, Brittany, Brooke and Addison Kovach all of Powhatan Pt. several nieces and nephews.

        Family and friends will be received Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 2p.m. – 8p.m. at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, OH, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11a.m. with Reverend Theresa Bobot officiating.

        Inurnment will be at a later date in Powhatan Cemetery.

       Connie was a retired registered nurse from the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ. 

       In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Jeffrey Glenn Kuhn and a granddaughter; Ella Grace Baldridge. 

       She is survived by her husband; Glenn Kuhn of Woodsfield, two daughters; Julie (Brent) Huffman of Woodsfield, and Jana (Clayton) Baldridge of Barnesville, three sisters; Linda (Larry) Lumbatis, of Woodsfield, Carrie Ann (James) Cox of Woodsfield, Chris (Dan) Christman of Woodsfield, two brothers; Allen Spence of Marietta, and Mark (Rita) Spence of Marietta, five grandchildren; Chris, Josh, Emily, Paiten and Brylee, and several nieces and nephews.
