2017 -- Almost all of the first six generations of the Herlan family seen here is courtesy of Stuart Herlan.  Stuart has made the research of the Herlan family a lifetime project.  His home in Westerville, Ohio is full (literally FULL) of Herlan items -- maps, signs, documents, books, letters, postcards, photographs, Bibles, etc. He has met countless Herlan "cousins" in his travels through the United States and in Germany.  We met Stuart and his wife Sharon around 2004 when they traveled to our home in Twinsburg, Ohio, to photograph our Herlan family Bible and other items.  Thank you so much, Stuart, for your dedication to this project, and for sharing your hard work.  We do hope your book will soon be finished.
