SKETCH OF
DAVID POPE
This
sketch was published in a book with the words PRESIDENTS, SOLDIERS, STATESMEN across
the top of pages 1218-1219. That is
either the name of the book or the name of the chapter. One scanned sheet from the book appears in
the Pope folder at the Shelby County, Indiana, library. I am hoping someone reads this and can give
me the information needed for a more exact citation.
