Distler Hotel
A fire destroyed the Arlington House, and it was
rebuilt and renamed the Distler Hotel. Part of the original structure known as
the Arlington House is on the left. John George Distler is on the steps. The
photo is probably taken about 1900, shortly before John George Distler's death.
Note "Hotel Distler" painted in the window. Others in the photo are
not identified. In later years this
building was owned by the Lumbatis family.
The building is still standing although it is in poor condition.
