Thomas Batson
Crandall, was born December 5, 1806 in Maryland (probably Anne Arundel County)
and married Elizabeth Ann Gray b. Aug. 15, 1815 also Maryland in 1837. Thomas
B. Crandall and Elizabeth Ann Gray had twelve children: Margaret (b. 1835),
James (b. 1837), Mary (b. 1838), Richard (b. 1842), Sarah (b. 1843), Alice (b.
1844), Catherine (b. 1847), Mariah (b. 1849), George (b. 1852), Frank (b.
1855), John W. (b. 1855), and Thomas (b. 1859). About 1848, Thomas B. Crandall
and family moved to Ohio. He lived in Monroe County Ohio until moving to
Pleasant County WV where he died at age of 84 in 1890. Please contact Clayton Crandall if you have any additional
