This picture was taken somewhere around 1908.  It was taken in Woodsfield, Ohio.  This store was located on Eastern Avenue about two buildings east of the old Sentinel newspaper building.  Archer's Feed Mill was across the street.  In the picture are Theodore and Adam Weisend who owned the store until Theodore (Dorry) became ill and moved to Florida.  The store was sold to their sister Isabel (Weisend) who was married to Albert Schumacher, the baker who lived on North Main Street across from the Methodist church.

Below is a picture of this same building taken in 2002 with my French cousin Olivier Weissend from the same camera angle.  In the picture are Olivier and his dad Bernard Weissend.

The store has changed in appearance and has been expanded since this picture was taken in 2002. (Text provided by Frank Schumacher)
