West Union Church of Christ

This photo of the West Union Church of Christ is dated 1913 and shows several significant changes from the photo of the church as it was in 1871.  In the above construction, a chimney appears along the side of the building.  A single entrance door has replaced the double entrance doors of the 1871 church.  Along the depth of the building above are 4 windows instead of the 3 windows of the older design.  The edges of the roof no longer wrap around onto the front-outside wall of the church.  Tombstones can be readily seen at the right side of the church.  (Note:  The above picture appears twice on the website contributed by different sources.  Click here to see the other picture.)
