This picture of the Graysville 3-member graduating class of 1927 was originally put on the website with the following message: “Of the three people shown in this class picture, only Arnett Whitacre on the right of the picture is known.  If anyone can identify the woman and man on the right (light suit) of the picture please e-mail Dick Harrington at [email protected] or telephone 703/780-9109.”

 

Thank you, Lisa Dohm for sending us the names of the other two members of this graduating class.  Lisa writes:  “I was doing some web browsing and I saw the 1927 GHS photo.  (http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~harringtonfamilies/lj30.htm)  I was surprised because I have a framed version of this photograph.  It was given to me by my grandmother …..

 

I also have my grandfather’s high school diploma.  In there it mentions that the three members of the 1927 graduating class are Arnett Whitacre, Chella McNiece, and Donald Jones. 

 

I hope this helps to solve the mystery.
