MARKER FOR HENRY &
CAROLINE MENKEL GRAVE SITE
This photo is the head stone
of the grave of Henry and his wife, Caroline Menkel. This grave is in an un-named (at least to me) cemetery that is
about 500 yards due west of the northern town limit of Miltonsburg, OH, USA. This is the largest tombstone in a cemetery
of 11 remaining stones. It is a red
granite stone and while it is uncertain how long it has been there (probably at
least 70 years) it shows no sign of erosion or damage. This marker is located at an elevation of
1313 feet, latitude: N 39 o 49.995' and longitude: W 081o
10.171'.
