Hazel Edna Gray Evans (1893 – 1977) was the daughter
of Asher and Ida Viola Whitacre Gray.
She was the older sister of Brooklyn Gray. Hazel had three sons each with different fathers. Her two oldest sons were given her maiden
name, Gray. On July 8, 1922 she married
Clarence Nathan Evans and gave birth to her 3rd son Robert (Bob)
