August Herman Frank (1856 – 1916) was the son of the emigrant Oskar Frank (1825 – 1890) and wife, Carolina Brubach Frank (1830 – 1912). This picture was probably taken about 1880-81 when August was about 25 years old. This would have been about the time his son, William Edward Young was born.
