The 1900 Federal Census of Monroe County, Ohio, Volume 1.  This is the first of four volumes of the 1900 census for Monroe County.  Volume 1 includes the townships of Center, Summit, Seneca, and Wayne.  The 1900 census includes immigration information, birth month and year, number of years married and number of children born, plus the information found in earlier censuses.  Each volume is individually indexed.  2004, 8 ˝’ x 11, softbound.  229 pages.

Jackson Township - compiled by Opal Smith and Karen Romick (1988).  The first settlement in Monroe County was made in the this township.  This volume includes tombstone inscriptions from the cemeteries of Witten, Locust Grove, Gravel Hill, Frobish, Rowles, Griffon, Moszer, and Shook.
