Hi everyone. My name is Diane Graham, and I am in Sioux City Iowa. I was
very happy to find this Harrison List, and am so hopeful, about making
connections here. I have worked on this line for a dozen or so years now,
Perhaps some one of you will know something more about them.
JOSIAH HARRISON sr....b. ca. 1700-1703 where??????
m. Dec. 26, 1723 at All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County Maryland, to
Mary Downey (Cornelius) their son was
Josias jr. (sp) b. July 3, 1726
I have a note that this was an English family, who came to this country over
100 years before the Revolution. and , also, that Robert Harrison, who
was General Washingtons private secretary, was part of this family. I
know nothing before JOSIAH

legend has it that these also were related to President Harrison...I have
never found anything to substantiate that......I guess all the Harrisons
wanted to claim that relationship.
Ruben Thomas Harrison was in the war of 1812., Moved to Harden Co
Kentucky, from Maryland in 1784.
Do you recognize any of these Harrisons. Can you give me any hints or clues
as to which Harrison family they came from?? I have wanted to know more
about them for so long...The Greenberry name puzzled me, but I have not yet
been able to make a connection to the Greenberry family...all tho I thought
for a long time, that might be an answer for me....Any help will be
