I am searching for info on John H. Harrison born 1804 in Norfolk Co.,Va.
He died 17 July 1883 Butler Co.,AL and was buried in the Damascus Cem. in
Butler Co.,Al. He married Caroline T. (maiden name unknown) about 1830. She
was born 25 July 1806 in Jones Co.,Ga.
According to the 1860 census the following children were listed:
Louisiana F. born about 1833 in AL. Married Robert Smith in Butler Co.,Al
on 17 Oct 1858.
Thomas E. born about 1841 in Al. Married Rebecca Jane Rainey in Butler
Co.,Al on 10 Nov 1860.
J.L.W. (male) born abt 1845 in Al
M.B. (female) born abt 1852 in AL
Need to find John H. Harrison on 1850 census. There are Jno and John
Harrison's in Butler Co.,Al in 1850 but none have proved to be mine.
If anyone has Harrison or varient spellings in Texas,I will be glad to
check the library where I research for information.
