Here is what I have on this part of the line. This information came to me
from a small family tree book compiled by my Dad's cousin in West Plains, MO.
James Harrison b. c. 1735 m. Winnie Reddin (after James died she married
Campbell)
(my info is from the Harrison Repository, so it would be the same)
John El(as) Pentecost m. Mary "Polly" Harrison.(no date) Polly died 14
October 1871(do not know where yet). Their children were:
i. ( my GG-Grandparents) Eli Blankenship Pentecost b. 1830 in IL, m. Abt.
1850 to Elizabeth Jane Smith b. 23 March 1834 in Kentucky.
ii. Elizabeth Pentecost b. 1833 in TN. married Bowman
iii. Sarah Pentecost b. 1836 in IL married Martin Boon(e).
CHILDREN of Eli B. Pentecost and Elizabeth Jane Smith:
Miriam b. 1852; Mary Elizabeth b. 1854; Charles W. b. 1857; John William
Calvin b. 1858; Ruth Angie b. 1863; and James Eli Shields Pentecost b. 1867.
My ancestor is Mary Elizabeth Pentecost ( G-Grm) who married Harvey Lawson
Smith in Celina, TN. They had 7 children. I have info about all of them.
