Oddly enough, The Carter Tree has a number of Lewises, with one line having
Harrison numbers - John C. Lewis - this one married into the Harrison line
when he married Alice E. Thornton. d/o Mary S Harrison (d/o of WHH, Prez) and
John H. F. Thornton.
John and Alice had:
Thornton Lewis, m. Eliz Irwin
James D. Lewis, m. ---Melcher
Charles R. Lewis
Mary W. Lewis
Frank E. Lewis
There are thre other John Lewises in here - different lines - surmise they
all married into, but not sure since I didn't look them all up. I also see
about half the first names you mentioned.
There are also nine William Beverleys in here - amongst about 60 Beverleys,
all descendants from Robert Beverley who married one of Landon Carters' kids
- making them all in my line. On the aunt/uncle/cousin level. Nothing
direct.
