Hi there..
I'm looking for any information on a James Harrison, born
reportedly in Antrim, Ireland, approximately 1747. He emigrated to
N.C. in 1767 and thence to Canada in 1781. He married Charity
Cowperthwaite, d/o Hugh, possibly originally of NY state, in 1788.
He also had a brother, Charles Harrison, who shared land with him
both in the states and Canada. Charles emigrated to the states in
1767 as well.
Any linking information would be greatly appreciated, as I'm finding
this a difficult line to trace.
