Re: James Harrison, Ireland, Ontario

Thanks Matt
all input appreciated

Were the Harrisons in Scotland or Ireland from the area near Wales?

With so many Scots in my lineage, I have been wondering how the English
Harrison snuck in

After wiping out the Irish folk in North Ireland; The Britts promised the
Scots land, etc if they would go to Ireland and build it up again.

The Britts wanted to change the Ireland folks to their culture
by means of infiltration - just like the Chinese are doing in Tibet and
Mexico is doing in the US today.

the Britts reneged on their promises after some years had gone by and
started charging the Scots rent, etc. So the Scots starting leaving and
emigrated out of there.

The Cajuns from Nova Scotia who moved to Louisiana wanted to fight the
Britts so bad they got up a regiment and fought in the Revolution for the US
in 1776, even tho they were not part of the US until The LA Purchase in
1803. My Scots-Irish moved to LA abt 1808 from SC and GA. They had been in
the Colonies since c1730 and some before.

At least this is the tale that I know.
