I have my Louis Henry HARRISON's year of death, 1919, off his tombstone in
Jacksonville, FL. And an aunt who insists he died in Lake City, FL. But the
Florida vital records folks have searched two times for a death certificate
and come up empty handed.
Were ALL deaths reported to state officials? Where else should I look?
Without that, I am stopped in my tracks, as the cemetery officials say they
have no further information. I find that odd, as Louis Henry HARRISON's
wife, Rebecca, is buried next to him and they have lots of information about
her and her death certificate was easy to find.
This mystery gets deeper and deeper because there are a lot of things about
this man that have not added up. Anybody got any ideas?
