I'm stuck on a HARRISON line in TN, AL, and LA. Mary Anne HARRISON was
b. in TN on 13 March 1822, d. in Red River Psh., LA, on 13 Aug. 1877.
Married Mark Jefferson LINDSEY in 1839 in Lawrence Co., AL.
Mary Anne had a sibling Richard T. HARRISON, who was b. abt. 1825, TN.
Married Mrs. Margaret JONES, 1850, Cherokee Co., TX. Was in Co. L, 12th
LA Infantry (CSA) during the Civil War. Enrolled with a James H.
HARRISON of Jackson Psh., LA. In 1870, Richard T. HARRISON was in
Hopkins Co., TX, in 1880 in Franklin Co., TX. Richard T. HARRISON had
children Kate/Ella, Mattie/Ida, Greenberry, Benjamin, Ruth, John,
William, Cora, Hattie, and Richard.
Family tradition says these Harrisons lived for a while in Talladega Co.,
AL. Are they related to the HARRISONS who moved from Talladega Co. to
Homer in Claiborne Psh., LA? Any help will be gratefully appreciated.
