I think we did this dance before, but I show him grandson to Anne Carter (b.
1702) and Benjamin Harrison of Berkeley. His parents were Carter Harrison of
Clifton and Susan Randolph. As I type, it sounds like I've done it before,
so if anyone needs more, let me know.

Fayette Co., IN; parents: Taylor, Wm. & Elizabeth; mar; Harrison, Jabez
(deceased a few months ago); Issue: 8 chn. [14 -180; 18 Feb 48]

Jabez is on page 142 and Elizabeth is on p. 181..>>

Not for nothing, I show three William Taylors in the Harrison line. One
married Anne Harrison, one married some other women, and the third doesn't
show a wife. He was already the product of a Harrison intermarriage. These
three are lineally related, the first one marrying Anne/Benjamin's
great-granddaughter. I'm feeling too old to do the arithmetic right now. I
hope I live to regret those words. Like, kiddo, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
 What am I saying?

HARRISON, Edmund; d 7 Jul 44, aged 75 yrs., Fort Wayne, IN; mar. Issue: chn.

I show an Edmund who was a contemporary (as in 1st cousin) of Robert Carter
Harrison - m. Mary Murray and Martha Skipwith, in that order. Apparently had
all kids with Martha.

<< p.118:

Here's something interesting: contemporaries of the William H. H. Taylor
who m. Anna T. Harrison, above, (54139) I see:

54141, Lucy Singleton, m. Thomas Taylor of Richmond -- these, in fact, are
parents of said William Taylor. Among their numerous offspring, several of
which within the next two or three generations, married Harrison tribe
members, was one Fannie Taylor, m. (1) Archie Harrison (54613), and (2)
Thomas H. Ellis. No kids listed.

****** << p. 145:
HARRISON, Jonathan; b 23 Nov 1779, MD; d 17 Feb 46, aged 66, Madison Co.,
OH; mar. 1800, Wallis, Amelia. To OH in 1804. [13-8; 24 Apr 46] >> *****

This looks like (wishful thinking, perhaps) an excellent candidate for
Richard to follow up on.

Not for the first time, I wonder how many Harrison offspring who have been
told they're related to the Presidents, are related through their wives who
had different maiden names.

And on that happy note - here endeth my ruminations.
