Searching for any cousins or genealogists researching HARRISON or CHILDS.
Here are my dead ends:
Deborah "Jennie" Jane Childs is my g-g-grandmother. She was born in 1870, m.
William Whelply on July 4, 1889 at Niagra Falls, NY and d. 1956 in Port
Arthur, TX.
Her father was Clemon J. CHILDS, b. 1845, m. Nancy E. HARRISON at Morris
Corners, Rome Township, Crawford Co., PA. Nancy was b. 1849 in Rome Twp.,
Crawford Co., PA to Inskip HARRISON who was born in Northumberland, England
between 1815 and 1817. He immigrated to America in 1827. His wife is unknown.
Inskip's parents were Benjamin J. HARRISON of Glanton, Northumberland,
England and Benj.'s 2nd wife, Isabella.
Benj.'s parents were Benjamin HARRISON and Jane -.
This is all the info I have on these families and need help desperately!!! If
anyone has any leads, or thinks our families might be connected, please email
