You'll never guess . . .

Hi -

Just had to drop a line 'cause the funniest thing happened tonight. I've
taken on a second job at Office Depot, and today was my first payday. Of
course, because this is the way my life has been going for a few years, they
didn't have a check for me. But they had recognized that fact - my luck is
turning? - and had put aside some petty cash for me. Being a part-time job,
it could be TAKEN from petty cash, but who cares? The point is, I had to go
with the manager to the petty cash place, and while I was there, he gave me a
check to give to my co-worker, Bill.

It was sooooooooo eerie. Even before my eyes registered the name, I had a
sense of what I was going to see. . . . . . William H. Harrison, Jr. When I
got back, I said, your middle name wouldn't be Henry, would it? He said
yeah, like big surprise I guessed it.

He said his daughter had done their genealogy for a school project, and yes,
he is related to the Presidents, but the bum couldn't articulate how, and
said he doubted he would bring me his genealogy. Boo. He said his wife's
side was related to the Presidents Adams, too. I have a couple of folks from
MA, and I'm DYING to see his daughter's work, but I'm thinking, fat chance.

Well, I just had to share that. Oh, he was born in DC, and his family moved
to MD when he was a toddler. Before that - VA. Like I didn't know.
