My Grand mother wrote:
. . . She was born in Boone co. Ky about 1788. She would never tell
the younger members of her family her exact age (ladies never discussed
their age, in her book). . . .

. . . Matilda Harrison was sister to Dr. Burr Harrison and she had
sisters Fannie and Sallie who never married. My mother knew them as
they used to visit them at Shepherdsville and Matilda is the Little
Grandmother of my mother's writings.
