Whie doin research on my family, I came across a source that stated that
"William R. Remy,b in 1759 in Abingdon, Washington Co., Va., then called
Wolfs Hills. H m. Eleanor Harrison, a sister os William Henry Harrison,
who became President os the United States. President William Henry
Harrison ....Eleanor Remy was another child of Benjamin Harrison and his
wife Elizabeth (Basset) Harrison....William R.Remt moved from Abington
Va. to Paintsville, Johnson Co., KY abt.1748."
William R. Remy is one of my mother's side ancestor. I know that
Benjamin and Elizabeth had 7 children. My problem is I find no
reference to an Eleanor. Could eleanor been a middle name for one of
the girls or does she not exist?
