Several of you have asked for information about Internet Fraud.

I can not comment at the present time, other than to state:
The person is a name you would recognize, and he is doing business from
as far as I can determine 3 sites, and offer 5 or 6 discs of indexed
genealogical websites, as well as various family files, programs, etc.,
and they accept check numbers on the Internet.
I do not trust this person, and would be very hesitant to give anyone
checking account numbers on the internet.
A friend advised my that she never pays by check to an unknown person or
company. She says she will pay by postal money order.
An individual may also contact the US Post Office and file a complaint.
A person may also wish to contact a State or serveral state's Atty Generals.
One might also consider contacting the entities internet provider.
I am currently waiting a few more days before I take action, on the above.
and at that time I will tell anyone interested who the person is.
I realize there are 2 sides to every story, but my check was cashed
almost 2 months ago, and he has emailed me 2 times that he was mailing
the program, and after almost 2 months, ZIP, NADA, ZERO...
