Have received new information that a Thomas Harrison (ca. 1770-1837) may have
been the father of Vincent D. (my ggg grandfather), William and Henry
Harrison. Vincent was born 1801. Henry was born 1797. William was a
blacksmith who died in 1834 in Columbus, Bartholomew Co. and Thomas was the
administrator of the estate and papers state he was William's father.
Thomas, Henry, Vincent first show in Bartholomew Co. IN 1830 census.
Vincent was born in TN and married Nancy Keith before 1830 (b. 1811-d.1847;
dtr of Walter Keith and Mary Creamer) and died 1857. He was married second
to Rebecca Davis Wakefield Harrison Thompson Robertson in Bartholomew Co. in
1851.
Henry's wife was Polly ______.
I have lots of other information but it doesn't fit neatly into a package
yet. Other early Bartholomew County Harrisons are Carter Harrison, Caleb
Harrison, Carter "Pap" Harrison, Ambrose Harrison, Hezekiah Harrison. Any
clues/help appreciated.
