Becky posted info on William Harrison last week and I would
like to follow up with what I have.
Quite correctly Benjamin HARRISON -3468 had a son
Battaile HARRISON -1131
It states he was born in Frederick Co VA in 1757 --
could be. But he was there and served in Lord
Dunsmore's War 1774. He served for 159 days (the
complete term of service and was paid out of Romney
(WEST) VA.
I have a copy of the pay record and although it is not very
readable -- if any direct descendents need it for DAR/SAR
proof, I would be happy to send via FAX.
At some point this family moved to KY -- does anyone know
about what timeframe they moved or to what location.
