Seeking info on John Harrison, born in 1730 in Westmoreland County, Va.
Fought in Rev war in Gen. Daniel Morgan's 11th Va. regiment, at
Saratoga. May have also been one of the original Riflemen in the Quebec
invasion. I believe he may be the key to the John/Thomas/Nancy Harrison
puzzle, who were of unknown parentage but moved to Fleming, then Mason
County, KY in 1790. John's(b.1771, Fairfax Co.) first two sons were
named Cuthbert and Burr, seemingly placing them in the Burr Harrison
line. Thomas'(b.1774, Fairfax Co.) sons were named George Headley,
William, Daniel, seemingly placing them in the Westmoreland George
Harrison line. They had an unnamed brother who fought with Gen. Morgan
at the Cowpens and Eutaw Springs in 1782, making the brother born in
1767 or before, assuming he was a minimum of age 15 when he enlisted in
Fairfax County, Va. Any insight would be most appreciated.
