Dear Harrison Group,
I have posted about this line to the group before, and am doing so now
because I have several new pieces of information.
Seeking information about the father of Richard Thomas HARRISON and sister
Mary Anne. The father is said to have been killed in either southern TN or
northern AL in a chivaree around 1839.
Richard T. HARRISON was b. 1 March 1826 in TN, and died 16 Sept. 1886 at
Cypress Creek, Franklin Co., TX. Family stories say he was apprenticed out
to a plantation owner after his father's death, around 1839, and ran away to
TX sometime in the early 1840s.
in 1850, Richard T. HARRISON m. Margaret JONES in Cherokee Co., TX.
Any information on this HARRISON family will be much appreciated.
