I think I have people who have already made a move somewhere purged from
this list. If I missed you, let me know.
I *think* everything is going to work okay with rootsweb. They have a web
page to help you manage your lists.
I'm trying to get my hands on a sample welcome message so you can start
working on that.
My regional lists should be back up the first of the week on listserv here
(many of them are set up but I need to work on welcome messages). I'm
moving my family lists to rootsweb.
I've been talking with the non-genealogy owners about their options; the
picture isn't as bleak as we first thought for them.
PLEASE NOTE: If you think about this you can appreciate that Karen and
Brian are swamped with this mess. We're talking ~1,000 lists that have to
be set up. Please be patient. It will serve everyone better if those of
you still here will be patient and let me move you in an orderly fashion
(unless you're going somewhere other than rootsweb). This will cut down on
the chaos.
This will take a few days, but we'll get it done. I'll be moving the
archives, too, but that will take longer. I want to get lists moved, first.
