I am looking for the Cuthbert HARRISON who married the widow of Thomas OSBORNE
of Prince William Co. Va. It is my understanding that they married abt. 1739,
possible children; Elizabeth, b. 1740 and Seth, b. 1742.
This is NOT my Harrison line, but I need to know who woman is in order to
follow my OSBORNE line which originates in Prince William Co. and on to Nelson
Co. Ky.
I found out about Cuthbert marrying the widow of my Thomas Osborne from a
Nelson Co. Record of the grandchildren of Thomas Osborne trying to recover the
estate of their grandfather from Cuthbert Harrison, husband of widow Osborne.
They did not do this until after the death of their mother, Margaret Osborne
BLAND.

Mary, & John Hughes, Wm Bland & wife Sarah, Osborn Bland & wife Lettica,

appoint John Bland to recover from Thos. Osborn, decd. estate, being our
Grandfather, we the heirs of Margaret Bland, wife of John Bland, decd (3
legatees of Thomas Osborn estate(: Margaret Bland, Nancy Randolph, Mary
Hendley to recover of Cuthbert Harrison husband of widow of said Osborn in
Prince William Co, VA
BTW, if anyone finds my Grove HARRISON please let me know !!!
