Hello,
Concerning the Harrisons of the Northern Neck (descendants of Burr)...
what is considered the most reliable source? From what I've gathered there
seems to be some considerable confusion. It seems that because of the
abundance of repeated given names, Cuthbert, John, William, Thomas, etc.
What records still available may have been attributed to the wrong
person... sometimes to more than one person of the same name by different
sources.
For instance, this morning I have been discussing with DeAnna Fisher the
Cuthbert Harrison who was born c.1718, the son of Capt. Thomas Harrison. I
have his mother as Anne ____ others have it as Sithia Elizabeth SHORT. I
have his wife as Frances BARNES and Dee has his wife as Mary OSBORNE nee
JONES.
So, I am asking among the Harrison researchers what source(s) seem to be
most reliable?
