My HARRISON line is that of RICHARD HARRISON and his son, JOHN HARRISON,
of Montgomery Co., VA. RICHARD named JOHN, AMOS and a number of other
children in his Will in the mid-1700's in Montgomery Co. JOHN HARRISON
and his father, RICHARD HARRISON lived on Crab and Plum Creeks in
Montgomery County, as did my ancestor RICHARD HANKINS. RICHARD HARRISON
left a Will ca 1810 in Jefferson Co., TN, naming his daughter, PHEBE
HANKINS, wife of EDWARD HANKINS. Edward was a son of RICHARD HANKINS.
This HANKINS family connected to the CARTER family. Does anyone know
anything of this HARRISON family and what their lineage is? The HANKINS
came from New Jersey, via Frederick Co.,VA. Any help greatly
appreciated and I am happy to share any information I have. Thanks!
