Benjamin Harrison, "The Signer" was b ca. 1726 Berkeley, Charles Co., Va.,
died 24 Apr 1791, married Elizabeth Bassett.  He was the son of Benjamin
Harrison b. ca. 1695 Berkeley, Charles City Co., Va. killed by lightning
on 12 July 1745 with one daughter Maria at Berkeley, married Ann Carter
daughter of Col Robert and Julia Armistead Carter of "Corotoman".  He was
the son of Benjamin Harrison b. ca. 1673, Berkeley, Charles  City Co., Va.
(Revised laws of colony, treasurer, speaker, attorney general, house of
Burgess), died 10 Apr 1710, burial Old Westover Graveyard.  He married
Elizabeth Burwell.  He was the sone of Col. Benjamin Harrison, b. 20 Sep
1645, Went to England as Commissioner, member King's Council, died 30 Jan
1711/12 in Southwark Parish, Surry Co., Va., burial in chapel near Cabin
Point, Va.  Prob. of est. 18 Feb 1711/12.  He married Hannah Churchill.
He was son of Benjamin Harrison who had a land patent Warrosquivake Creek,
7 Jul 1635, clerk of Council 1629, Burgess 1642, died ca. 1648, married
Mary unknown who later married Benjamin Sidway.  I have 24 pages on word
perfect 6.1 and can send you a 6.1, 5.1, or ascii file if you want to send
me a disk to 300 Powers St., Nacogdoches, Texas 75961.  Also, tell me some
more about your Harrison ancestors.  when you say "early Harrison family"
from Virginia you can refer to 14 or 15 different lines of Harrisons that
cannot, as of yet, be connected.  Hope this helps.
