Hello all:
I am looking for information on Robert Peyton Harrison who was born in
1855 in James Co. VA. When he was a young man he moved to Vicksburg, MS
where he married Hattie Louise Barnes in 1882. He was killed in a
levee accident in that city in 1888. According to an old letter in my
possession, he was the son of William Henry Harrison (not the
president). He married either a Miss Randolph or Miss Peyton. William
and his wife moved to Kentucky and then to Ohio sometime between 1855
and 1872 after the tragic death of their two older children. Robert
Peyton's wife visited them in 1886 but they were never heard of again.
Does anyone have any information on this family.
