New member seeking information on Great Grandfather George washinton
Harrison, b. ca 1872, somewhere in TN. Married Mattie Roxie Wood(s) 12 May
1892, Waxahachie, Ellis, TX. Mattie born ca. 1877, Rutherford Co., TN.
George died Aug 1951, Lawton, Comanche, OK.
This is all the information we have on George, who was known as "Sandy", and
that he had a twin sister named Alice. Alice married and lived in Texas.
Mattie was the daughter of George Washington Wood(s). Sandy Harrison and
Mattie Wood(s) had 9 children.
We have just begun our research and have hit a brick wall already. Does
anyone have a mention of our George Washington "Sandy" Harrison? His parents,
siblings, etc?
