My apologies for not replying sooner ... I have just been too busy to
address your message. You asked about Pocahontas and her Ggranddau
associated with Ben the Signer. There is a connection in our Repository
but this was Ben the signer's son Ben VI m. Susan RANDOLPH and reportedly
had no issue. There may be other connections I have not found yet but this
is what is believed to be the case according to the Foundation of
Pocahontas Descendants. (see reports below). You can find Poca on our
website and follow any of her descendants we have entered so far by looking
at our surname index (I know Pocahontas is not her last name but the only
way we could easily find her).
In regard to LONAS and your specific HARRISONs, I personally don't know any
more than is what is presented in our Repository database. We are keenly
interested in this family as their descendants lived in the same area as
our own HARRISONs in AL but we have never been able to connect the two
HARRISON lines. Perhaps some of your info will help us do that. Our
HARRISONs (James and Elizabeth) were reportedly first cousins to Wm Henry
Pres but we have not found any evidence to support that to date. Perhaps
these oral family histories will be born out by careful study of spouse
ancestries or some HARRISON link that has been overlooked.
