Hello
Looking for any data related to the Harrisons of Northumberland England who
arrived in Rome Township, Crawford PA in 1827. Benjamin Harrison, b. 1799,
and his family created the "English Settlement" and it is believed that some
related families arrived with him. Looking specifically for:
Nancy Harrison Childs, b. @ 1840 in Rome Twp., wife of Clemon J. Childs,
mother of Deborah Jane Childs and Albert Childs. Have not been able to find
after 1877. May have moved to the Olean area of NY State.
Inskip Harrison, father of the above Nancy, and his wife--name unknown, d.
before 1850. Need wife's information. May be a Miller or Morris, just a guess
though.
Wife's maiden names in this line back to Benjamin, b. 1799.
