I have two records on Elizabeth Harrison , the first one I copied pages
from a book years ago and do not have book name. I believe it is
Marriages of Goochland Co. Va. It reads:
18 November 1779, John Tuggle and Elizabeth Harrison, 21 years of age
on the 6th of Dec 1779, daughter of Frances Overstreet, sur. William
Ware,
wit. William Harrison. John upwards of 21 years of age, is the son of
Henry Tuggle.
The other was copied from a book by James Edward Harrison called:
A comment on the family of ANDREW HARRISON who died in
ESSEX COUNTY VIRGINIA in 1718. This book says that the daughter
of Charles Harrison born in 1758 married John Tuggle. This is probably
correct as Charles Harrison made his will in 1762, his second wife
FRANCES
was a lot younger. She more than likely remarried an Overstreet. Charles
Harrison was the son of William Harrison who died in Caroline County Va.
in 1741 and a grandson of Andrew Harrison of Essex Co. Va. You can e-
