Dear All,
Reviewing all the old messages I ran across this one again. I guess I just
can't give up because the location and time frame of this is just totoo
close., and then there's the name thing.
The following land documents mention Clinton Co. OH and Clark Co., OH. I
have my Wm. Harrison in Clinton Co in 1820 census aged 45 or over, he died
between 1820 and 1827. He was married to a Martha_____ who appears after his
death in the 1830 census in Clinton Co., OH. Other records suggest he was
in Clark Co. prior to 1820.
Following thru these records I see mention of a William B. Harrison in these
locations with the similardates as far as I can see. Can anyone identify
this William B. Harrison??? Could it be (just on a whim.......) be William
Bazil Harrison, probably a stupid question but. . . I have only had the name
Wm Harrison, no middle name. He had abt 6 kids of which I only know WHH.

Many people claimed land in Ohio shortly after the territory was
opened. The Harrisons were no exception. Two families who were known to
travel together were Bazil Harrison m/ Martha Stilwell and Joseph Harrison
m/ Bersheba Oglesby. Bazil's family has many ties to Clark Co., OH and
Joseph's family is closely associated with Union Co., OH.
The information below indicates other Harrisons also have ties to
Clark and Union Counties. Could this indicate a closer tie between
the other families and the Bazil/Joseph clan? Bazil is certainly a
son of William (father of Zeph. lately the subject of much discussion
here.) and his second wife Worlenda Davis.
