Neil Harrison calling. I noticed your Harrison web page. We may have some
complimentary information. I was born in Blackburn Lancashire, and my direct
paternal ancestors have been mill owners in the town from 1870 until about
10 years ago. This branch of the family came from a Harrison who owned a
hat manufacturing company in Hyde on the outskirts of Manchester in the late
18th century. He died in a "road accident" in his carriage on the way to work.
I have more information, but not to hand.
