My Harrisons born before 1900 are:
William Harrison born c1755 died 1826-1829 Rockingham Co. NC wife
Eleanor ( Nelly)
sons; John,William, Zachariah,Starling (Sterling), & Landon. I believe
William to be son
of an older William Harrison who died in 1824 in Rockingham Co. NC.
known children
were Nathaniel, Jesse, & Chairty (Baker) of Blount & Greene Co. TN. who
signed
power of attorney to brother in law Yancey Holman, husband of Amey
Harrison. Also
a daughter that was deceased that married a Vermillion and a son named
John. I
have no proof that older William is father of my William, just that he
lived very near
(within 2-5 miles) and he is my best suspect.
Landon Harrison born 1792 Rockingham Co. NC married Sarah Ann Burgess in
1828,
children: Robert David 1832; George Washington c 1834 Joel Edward Green
1838;
& Sarah Ann ( Brooks) 1845
Joel Edward Green Harrison born 1838 Davidson Co. TN. married Amanda
Elizabeth
Register. He fought for the Confederate Army in the Civil War and was
wounded at
the Battle of Franklin. He was a Circuit Rider Methodist Minister and
died in Hickman
County TN. 1908.
Their children were:

Skelt William Ray
6. Olivia Norflet Harrison (Ollie) born July 18, 1871 married
John A. Gossett divorced him and took her Harrison name back.
7. William Moody Harrison (Dick) born July 21, 1873
listed in Bible as Wellborne.
8. Enoch Marvin Bishop Harrison June 24, 1877 married

9. Muncie Bascom Harrison born Jan 27, 1880. married
1st Charlie V. Daugherty 8/31/1902

we are collecting for the repository all Harrisons born before 1900.
we are trying to find ancestors who are hard to track for the repository
, because a good census didn't start until 1850 and some of them are in
error, spelling etc.
