Harrisons in Oklahoma

Anyone out there have any information about the Harrisons in Oklahoma,
specifically in and around Gotebo? My grandfather, Robert Edward Harrison,
was believed to be named after his uncle, Rbt. E. Harrison, whom it has
been told in my family that he was a Chief of the Choctaw Nation, possibly
in the 1910's or 20's. My great-grandfather was Joseph Harrison. Joseph
married Alice Addington,"Sudie". Sudie was of the same Addington family
that Addington, Oklahoma was named after. In fact, I think it was named
after her father, who was the postmaster. She was disowned by her family
for marrying Joseph, who was an alcoholic and a barber in Gotebo, OK. I
was told by my great aunt, shortly before she died, that it was weel-known
around Gotebo that Joseph was a "mean Indian". However, my grandfather
denied this even though he received a $50.00 check from the Choctaw Tribe
in the 1950's as compensation for petroleum that had been discovered on the
reservation. I am just getting started on this and this is all of the
information that I have. Anyone got a match or notice similarities?

						Thanks,
						  Doug
