Harrison-Bottoms
James Harrison, b. ca. 1777, in Va. He was in Jefferson Co., Tenn.,
in 1797, where he m. Liddie Bottoms, b. in Va. Had five children:
John, Oliver, Andrew, Samuel, and Jane. John m. Polly
Turner before 1830. Ca. 1830, the family moved to Laurel Co., Ky.,
where Samuel married Darnella Duncan in July 1842, Oliver m.
Elizabeth L. Duncan in August 1842, Andrew m. Elizabeth Phillips in
October 1842, and Jane m. John Holt in December 1846. Any info.

Honorable discharge. Captured at Rogersville. Confined at Belle
Isle and Andersonville. Escaped 17 Sep 1864 and back to
Union lines 8 Oct 1864. Returned to regiment 28 Oct. Furloughed and
discharged.
