I keep reading the letters and names being researched in your entries.
Has anyone encountered the surname of HARBISON as a variation of the
spelling of Harrison. I have information on the daughter of a JANE
HARBISON and DAVID GORDON born probably in W PA about 1856. The
daughter's name was ANNE ELIZABETH and she had a sister MARY. I suspect
that these girls were orphaned as in the census they are in the home of
an ALEX HARBISON and they are 4 years old and 2 years old respectively,
but no parent is listed there - just elderly HARBISONS. I would be
delighted if someone else has found this name.
