Here is a link I thought some of you might be interested in. It is the link
to search the Texas Confederate Pension Records Index (over 54,000 pension
applicants). If the applicant was the widow, the husband's names is also
listed. There is a link from this site to another site where you can obtain
help & copies of documents. You can submit your request for a photocopy of
the pension info by email or click on the link for a form and fees.
I did search for my great-grandfather's name and found it after several
searches. I knew it was there, I already have a copy of his application and
his widow's. There is quite a bit of good info in the applications. Good
