I am looking for the surname HARBISON. My gr-gr grandmother was named
JANE HARBISON and born early 1800's either in W.PA or IRELAND. She
married DAVID GORDON. They had at least two children being ANNA
ELISABETH born 1856 in PA, and MARY born 1858 in PA.
In the 1850 census of Robinson Twp.,Wash Co. PA there is a GORDON family
and a HARBISON family that are listed close to each other. I cannot
prove that they are the same but ALEX HARBISON is the family that ANNA
ELISABETH and MARY are listed with in 1860 census from Cecil Twp.,
Washington County , minus parents. I suspect these are grandparents.
The name HARBISON and GORDON are what is listed on the death certificate
of ANNA ELIZABETH as her parents.
Any insight would be helpful.
